This heating pad has Velcro to help keep in place. Great for knee of calf soreness or pain. An important note you hold down a switch to keep the heat on. This may seem odd but this heating pad heats up very hot and if wrapped directly on your skin with no fabric in between it will get too hot . What I liked was that I controlled the length of the heat by holding the switch. Different for sure but after using this a couple of times it all add sense as this heating pad gets hot not warm bringing relief instantly.

I purchased it in December and it is already dead. The quality of this brand has drastically declined. I’ve own 3 them over the past 10 years and I have never had one quit in 5 months! Save your money

I've been using this brand of heating pad for almost 50 years now. Not long after a serious injury at the age of 19, I made my 1st purchase of a Thermophore heating pad and I used it veryoften. Not as often when I was younger, but after a truly messed surgery at the age of 33yo, I now use it at least 4 hours a day. I buy another Thermophore every time one goes bad, or start having troubles. Believe me you cannot go wrong buying a Thermophore, & they usually last 5 to 10 years, especially if you're in severe pain, like me, you'll love it!!! Oh yeah, I've never been paid a penny to write this very heartfelt review. Altho if the owners of Thermophore want to send me a free one, I'll be even more likely to write about my love of their products lol!!! Seriously though, these are worth a try

Sturdy and most flexible use product. We use for Mom's knee. The only thing I don't like is the control must be depressed the whole time to use. This is understandable safety measure for its intended use however. It gets hot quick.

Nice cover but too dang short for pad. 1-1.5" short. But wears well n is dependableUsed for a long time...good brand

This is my 2nd Thermophore Moist Heat Pad, I wore the other one out after 20 yrs! This is perfect for large areas like both hips, or from neck down the back and bottom, or across both shoulders and the back! It helps to treat a large area at one time, which means better pain relief quickly! This has helped my sciatic nerve pain for years, my husbands hips, knee and shoulder arthritis too. The toggle switch allows you to regulate the amount of moist heat delivered to the area. I usually use my at night; once I heat the area up several times by alternating the toggle switch, I can start to feel the relief because moist heat penetrates deeply. Then you can place the toggle switch part of the cord where it cannot be activated accidently and leave the warm pad in place for long term relief. The pad stays warm for a long time and is comfortable and never feels lumpy or bumpy. This Thermophore is a godsend and eliminates having to take a lot of pain killers, even if it’s aspirin, Tylenol, aleve or ibuprophen. Thermophore does the job! I wouldn’t be without it!
