Excellent set, I'm fairly new to traditional shaving, and have the Gillette King C razor.This set is brilliant value for the money, the brush is very soft and works up a lather really well.I have not yet tried the soap that comes with it as have been using Arko soap.Would 100% recommend this.And for anyone that is considering making the change from cartridge to DE razors.... Its the best choice I made.You get a better shave, less irritation, it's fully recyclable, and cheaper the long run. £10 for 100 Astra blades... Job done.

Very good product, The bowl is stainless steel and clearly won't be rusting anytime soon, the stand is well built. Most impressive of all, however, is the brush. I bought this product for my Father who, among other things is very into wildlife, and even he thought that the synthetic fibres were real badgerhair, we don't particularly mind either way but for someone inclined to buying non animal products this would be a life saver. The soap is also excellent quality, and lathers up into a very fine foam - I've used it multiple times and find it vastly superior to even Gillette gels and foams, which still drag with my single blade razor.Strongly reccomend and is going strong so far (Though there isn't really anything to break, let's be honest)

The soap makes a good lather. I have been shaving for over 50 years, this is the best shaving brush I have ever used.No more real badger for me.The stand is rather chunky.

nice brush and stand.my jaeger razor hands well next to the brush.The soap is good and lathers well in bowl.very pleased for the price.

Much better than shaving gel or cream, a better shave.
