STINKY. Helps w/ mosquitos. but be careful to not spill this in the home. Yikes, the smell is like strong citronella candle. Do not plan on using this for inside pests, too smelly, for outside and mosquitos only is my suggestion

We live in a pretty wooded area, and have a very heavy mosquito population. You walk through parts of our yard and you can watch the mosquitos just start flying out like that scene in Apocalypse Now with “Flight of the Valkyries” playing as they come to swarm me. I mixed it according to the container for the “heavy” use, so 1:15 ratio, and went to town on the yard and weeds on the perimeter. I was so excited to get this done; had a 4 gallon battery powered backpack sprayer, walking around singing “Fortunate Son” to myself as I napalmed these little b@$7@rd$ who had invaded my land. You can imagine my disappointment when directly spraying them didn’t kill anything on contact… no worries, maybe it just takes a couple minutes. I did the rest of the yard, used up the entire jug, and did a quick walk through the parts I did first. Unless these are immortal mosquitos or half-phoenix rising from the ashes, this stuff didn’t do a thing. The only saving grace is that it smells nice, and not toxic or harmful to the touch, so I got that going for me which is nice. But there are much cheaper air fresheners out there, so save your money and get something more powerful if you have a heavy mosquito presence.

I noticed that there have been no mosquitos in my pond ever since I sprayed the yard with the ER-3. The label said it was safe for ponds, and fish. It’s been 2 weeks and it’s safe to say the fish are still alive and no mosquitoes in sight!
