SM-WR60EDP Stainless Mug, 20-Ounce, Cantaloup

About me: I'm an avid coffee-drinker that travels a lot, goes on tons of walks, and has a small car. This is the perfect go-mug. What I like about the Zojirushi Mug: - Completely leakproof. No matter the angle it's at, your drink isn't going to leak. With the added security lock, you can also be assured it won't suddenly pop open in a bag. - Perfect size for coffee. While I could drink 48oz of coffee, 12oz is the perfect size for most coffee shops to fill it and charge me accordingly. - Perfect size for travel. It fits in jacket/pants pockets on walks, my small purse, all my backpacks, and any cup holder. When it's full, it isn't too heavy, and when it's empty it's very light so you aren't carrying half a kilo of empty container around. - Perfect size for my hands. I have tiny hands and so many mugs ::cough, Yeti:: are for some kind of NBA-sized hands. I can grip this comfortably. - Keeps filter-brewed coffee reasonably hot. Filter coffee isn't as hot when brewed, so it stays reasonably warm, but after about 3 hours you'll notice it's cooled a bit. - Keeps americanos effing hot. The hotter your beverage is when it goes in the thermos, the hotter it stays, for longer. One time I got an americano at 8am and still burnt my tongue on it at 5pm. You've been warned. - Keeps cold brew cold (with ice!). My friends call me "our lady of perpetual cold brew" because on every weekend trip, my cold brew seemingly never ends, ice clanking for days. - The color coating is cute and high quality. I've had mugs where the coating starts to flake off big time, making cleaning a little tenuous or questionable. I've dropped it several times and no chips or dings. While the bottom of the mug has some chips in the coating from regular wear and tear, it isn't flaking off. What I dislike about the Zojirushi Mug: - The silicone stopper: 1. It's hard to clean and eventually gets those black spots that so many other thermoses and water bottles get. Yuck. 2. I wear lip products and god help you if sparkles or lipstick gets on the stopper. 3. Sometimes it gets coffee on my nose.

I want my coffee to stay scalding hot for hours and the Zojirushi mugs do that better than any I have ever encountered. I also like the 16 ounce size. It fits well in car travel holders and is easy to drink from. I like that you can easily snap this closed and then lock it for added safety. I love the color of this mug and the adorable little elephant icon on the bottom. Regarding how long these mugs last, I didn't subtract a star for this because once you know you know, but you have to be careful to wash them by hand - if you wash them in the dishwasher, they lose their insulation. That warning is on the instructions, but who ever reads those! Amazon says I am supposed to comment on the "odor." I find that an odd suggestion but, okay, there was no bad smell when it arrived. (Now it always smells like coffee :).

Ice keeps cold over 25 hrs...ice cubes not yet melted compleyely. Much easier to clean compared to Yeti and other mugs with rubber washer. Best features? Leak resisant! Easy to grip and fits on side of crossbody bag! Value is in this mug...flup cap or lock with one hand. Great for busy parents and drivers. I outgrew the small volume Zorirushi years ago, and got caught up with the hype. So happy to be a Zorirushi owner once more!

Best Thermos for hot liquids- amazing length of time to keep,coffee,tea,soup etc hot for MANY hours.Expensive but hard to find another one as good as this. LOVE the ease of cleaning-does nit have multiple parts in lid to remove and clean. Great coating inside - no coffee stains to scrub off.

Keeps liquids hot for HOURS, but narrow opening makes it tough to wash with a regular square dish sponge. Great product overall, no spills

I've used Contigo for years ("push button" auto seal ones), but decided to give Zojirushi a try since I like the color, and it's thinner/fits better into my backpack. I like this bottle a lot more than my Contigo, or other bottles with similar design. The bottle is surprisingly light, significantly lighter than contigo. It's also thinner, slightly taller, and appear to be a bit smaller side by side, it also retains heat much much better. It's also a lot easier to clean, I find the stainless steel inside of Contigo difficult to clean (i use mine for tea or coffee, so i use multiple bottles), the inside gets discolored quickly and a lot of scrubbing to clean up. Contigo seems to have non-stick interior that wipes clean easily. Note - I was some what taken aback by the interior since it's a grey-ish color instead of stainless steel. I like it since that's probably a coating that'll prevent coffee from direct contact with metal, but something to keep in mine if coated interior concerns you.

After a month and a half it's time to sing the praises of the Zoji. What led me here was my budget: I wanted to save both time and money on the morning to-go coffee. The Zoji's selling points were that it was leak-proof, retained temperature well, and was easy to drink from and clean. Consider me sold on it! The Zoji excels on all counts. That's all there is to say. It really is one of my indispensable accessories. I even use the Zoji when at home because I'm a slow slipper and hot beverages would often be cold before I finished them. For trips on transit or the bike, I toss the Zoji in a backpack, or my jacket's inside pocket with no fear of leakage. The cap is designed for one handed drinking at the pop of a button and is also lockable, again single handedly, so no fear of it inadvertently opening when jostled. I've dropped the Zoji and it now has a couple of dings but nothing that affects its functionality. If the Zoji were lost or damaged beyond repair I would buy another the next day.
