"Grandma Putt's Old-Time Vinegar, Garlic, Baking Soda and 101 More Problem Solvers" is a fun book to read! It has many remedies that I can use. When I first received the book I used the recipe to resolve a slow bathtub drain (without any caustic chemicals). It worked perfectly! Grandma Putt was a very wise lady!

I found this book to be a really great resource for those everyday problems that I encounter with my health, cleaning or just need an easier way to do something. The nice part about it all is that you don't have to spend a huge amount of money purchasing items you don't have, as most of these items the author suggests are in my cabinets or refrigerator! I am very pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend this book if you want to get back to the "simple remedies or fixes" in your life.

Once again, Jerry Baker has hit it out of the ballpark. Love the insightful information in this thick book. Who knew you could have a sparkling clean home using so little products and all natural, too. Good health advice and healing ideas, as well. Highly recommend.

Somewhat disappointed. It does provide what it claims but I was expecting a more broad base of ingredients.

I wanted to reduce my shopping bill & try more natural products that are well established & known to work. This book has a vast solutions using few items that don't cost a packet. It even gives advice on how to make cleaning solutions like vinegar. Each living space is broken down with added tips & hints along the way as well as personal , health , beauty there truely is something for the whole house,garden its occupants & pets .

Very happy to have been able to purchase this book as it was published back in 2006 and was the last book available. This is one of the most valuable books ever written by author, Jerry Baker. I have bought quite a few of his garden books and he was one of my most go to mentors for garden advice. His tonics worked so well that I shared them with all my gardening friends. The remedies in this book remind me of my mother's home remedies learned from her Grandmother as she was a visiting nurse trained by the Victoria school of nursing in London, England.
