This was a great help when I was nursing my late husband through Alzheimer's. I've given it as a gift and it is much-loved.

I volunteer at a local medical center every week assiting the chaplain and this slim volume is perfect when praying with patients and family. It has any number of prayers for situations I encounter.

This book from the beginning is full of consolation. The jesuits did a really good job on it. I encourage everyone seeking Christian consolation through prayer to buy it.

This book is brilliant. If you have ever had that moment when you feel sad, fed up, lost someone, someone's not well and someone has passed away?Well this is the book for you and all the above. Although this is Catholic based, we can all read it and it will help you to feel better. The Prayers are so simple, yet they address all our bad times in life.Don't miss out on this beautiful book. If you do, you will soon drift into sadnesses again! In this case, I hope someone is walking past you who has this book and can spare a few minutes to either sit down with you and show you the prayers that will help your situation, or he just lets you read the book and let's you find your answer for yourself. If I was that person walking bye and you don't want to talk, I would give you the book for free. What is £3 odd to help someone who could read a few of these prayers and help that person to look better?Take the chance to get one of these books, and it will help you through troubled times.

It is in brand new condition and while a Catholic (Jesuit) published Prayer book, issued in the USA, it has a much wider application among Christians involved in Ministry from any denomination. While I don't subscribe to the Catholic Doctrine, I can subscribe to the excellence and relevance of most of the content. Recommended for any Christian in Ministry.

Brilliant series of little books. Though I am an Anglican and a minister, and this series is clearly Roman Catholic, there are prayers in here that are universal. Nice pocket size as well. Suitable for ministers and lay people with a wealth of devotional prayers.

If you have been a Catholic all your life you will find many of your traditional prayers that you have been praying all your life have been "modified" and words have been changed by this author, so best use this as a reference guide only and look up the version that everyone else prays and memorize that, or paste it on top of the corrupted version in this book.
