This this is made out of rubber. SOLID RUBBER. It looks great. It's thick. It's pretty heavy. And, IT STINKS! To high heaven!!! Like a refinery! When I opened the package, my wife hollered out, "WHAT'S THAT SMELL?!". And, she was in the other room! So, it stinks! I'm going to leave it outside for a couple of weeks, and hopefully the smell will go away. I'm using it to be able to drop my new macerator in the Wet Bay down a few inches below the original Wetbay floor to get better drainage. Others online have used these rubber 'doggie' bowls for the same thing. It should work perfectly. Hopefully that stink will be gone before our next RV trip! Very happy with the purchase. Other than that stink.....!

Very nice for a simple watering container. I use it for the deer and all other animals in the back pasture. Very durable.

A little pricy in my opinion . Bought two from local feed store for less than I paid for this one . I should have checked with them first ,instead of buying on line , which I thought would be less expensive , but that was my mistake , The biggest flaw in this product is it has that rubber stink , that after a couple of months of being out doors , is finally subsiding .

good, took some days for it to smell not rubbery. def need to let it soak in some dawn over night as well to help the smell. no other problems

If I could give zero I would It has a terrible smell even after washing it and letting it sit in the sun for days Once adding water there’s a residue on top of the water as well Seems dangerous and toxic

My horse colicked and was not drinking enough and needed mash. He is afraid to put his face in a normal 5 gallon bucket (especially if the mash is warm and creating steam) so he dumps it out and eats the bits of food off the ground... This bucket holds all his mash and he has yet to tip it over.

I use these to keep our chickens watered in the winter since we aren't able to get a reliable source of electricity to the coop to use a heated bowl. They work great because you can just pop the chunk of ice right out and refill it. The material is high quality so I have no worries about durability, and the price is great too!

Have been looking for ages for small rubber feed bowls for pony who always stands on her feed and these are brilliant. Bounce back to shape after the harshest treatment

Use to wash my dog’s paws after walks and dry with a towel after. While he isn’t thrilled about it, he doesn’t mind and it saves dirt from tracking through the house. Nice, compact, low sides and durable - doesn’t use much water and won’t crack if left outside in winter.
