Is it harmful to honey bees and bumble bees? I don't want to repel them from the flowering plants. I have two hives in my yard.

Garlic is non-toxic to bees: http://www.xerces.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/xerces-organic-approved-pesticides-factsheet.pdf

Is this safe to spray on the soil near junipers or even on them?

I am sure it’s safe to spray on any plant material. Not in full Sun though. Best in the evening.

Do you use it with a garden hose sprayer?

I gave 1/2 of the bottle to my sister & am not sure if she used it with a garden hose. I put some in a spray bottle for my little garden space & it works great!

Does this harm praying mantis?

Sorry, I have no idea. You might want to check with the manufacturer. I just know it does a great job keeping the mosquitos away.
