Perfect size and easy to use! I bought this medium cat flap door for my cat, and it’s been working great. The size is perfect—gives my cat plenty of room to go in and out comfortably. Installation was pretty straightforward, and once it was in, my cat got the hang of it quickly. It feels sturdy and opens/closes easily without getting stuck. It’s been such a nice convenience not having to constantly open the door. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a simple, reliable cat door! 🐾

For the price, it’s great, it’s definitely a plastic that’s somewhat sturdy, but once it’s in the door, it feels very secure. My biggest concern was installation and I gotta say it wasn’t too bad. I used a jigsaw from Harbor Freight and did they cut myself after removing the door, a fifth grader probably could’ve done as well as as I did with the lining, but you can’t even tell once the thing is in, it just has to be at the appropriate size. So far so good! Looks really solid, my German Shepherd can’t fit through it, but it’s definitely big enough for both of my cats, the male and female are both around 10 pounds

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was on the search for a pet door for a cat that visits us daily and has now taken up home in our garage. With little effort and training, the cat easily caught on on how to use the door so that we could quit leaving the garage door open to keep the garage temperature controlled for the cat. Video attached we did the tape method (introduced the door open and after a few days let the door down) to help the cat learn and in under a week she would go in and out without fear. Pros: price is very affordable, installation was easy for my husband, nothing too fancy to control it’s straight to the point. Con: The weather strip has quickly started loosing adhesive and coming off of the kitty door causing a slight extra push for the cat. Would love to know a quick fix on this or where to buy replacement adhesive. If you’re looking to keep other cats/accessible animals out with more automation or a chip this isn’t the one. It does its job with great price point - we did have another neighborhood cat find the doorway within the first week and if anything it was an entertaining surprise to find another cat in the garage. To help us make sure no cat fights break out we installed cameras to watch the feeding area and cat door. The cat is livening its best cat life now with free roaming accessibility. The cats so happy to be able to graze into its home away from home anytime she wants to. Overall I’d rate the door a 4.5 stars. It’s really made our co-parented neighborhood cat feel at home.

I purchased this so my cats would have access to their food and litter boxes but at the same time keep the dogs from being able to get to the cat food. This door was just the right size, was extremely easy to install in our basement door and has worked perfectly. My large 15lbs cat had no trouble fitting through the door, figuring out how it works immediately. My dogs are all 30-50lbs so they can not fit through it to gobble cat food. The locking mechanism has been a huge help to keep the cats safely closed up and not have to worry about any escaping during home renovations with workers in and out of the house. The swinging door can be a bit loud at times at times but usually that's only when the cats each sit on either side of the door and make a game out of batting / smacking it back and forth with their paws. Overall the door has held up very well in the 5 plus years it's been installed. At times the locking mechanisms can be a bit hard to slide and lock down but I don't use them often. The clear plastic door has some scratching and is not quite as clear anymore which is to be expected but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another in the future if needed. It was a great price and solved my problem of the dogs getting into the cat food.

We needed a cat door so our kitty, Billy Eyeless, could get out to the chilly side room to his litter box without us needing to keep a door ajar. He loves it and literally plays with it. It's great that we can lock the door and keep him out, if we are doing something he shouldn't get into. Perfect size for our fluff ball, easy install, nice quality.

At first this cat door was wonderful but as time went by some problems came up. First, it's difficult to get it in the exact right place to be able to lock it both ways. A bigger problem however was that somehow as the cats are passing through it in and out, they are touching the little sliding dials that lock it each way and end up either locking themselves in or out if I don't realize it and fix the dials. Not great if I'm out of town or something and they get locked outside because it defeats the whole purpose of having a cat door. I ended up putting some stickers on it to hold the dials in place. Otherwise this door is great, perfect size and easy installation.

Comes with the template. Has lockable door. It was exactly what I needed. I installed it in a solid wood door. It works for my cats.

I put this in mygarage door and it's perfect! My farm cats now go outside to potty, and come inside to eat and sleep in the winter, so I no longer need a litter box in the garage for the strays that found their way to us. I showed them how to use the door a couple of times and they figured it out (ok, I shoved them through face first a couple times). Definitely check the size options before ordering, and measure your cat as instructed. I think the smallest door would not have worked for these big-bodied mousers. I am not a carpenter, but hubby wanted no part of this. As the person trying to keep the garage from smelling like cat exudates, I wanted it. I figured out how to do it with a cordless drill, Jig saw, a couple of bits (to drill starter holes for the jigsaw blade) and a hammer to tap the aluminum edges back so the door could slide into my rough opening. The trim hides my hideous cutout. In strong winds, it does blow open sometimes, but it's in my garage so I don't mind.

Jetzt bleibt die Kälte draußen und die Wärme drin und unser Stubentiger hat trotzdem ungehinderten Zugang zu den von ihm selbst bestimmten Zeiten. Würde mich sofort wieder für einen entsprechenden Kauf entscheiden.

Super produit, bien conçu et pratique à installer. Le cadre est robuste, la porte se ferme en douceur et ne claque pas grâce au petit joint aimanté. Mon chat s’y est habitué en deux jours à peine, et le système de verrouillage 4 positions est vraiment top (je peux bloquer les allers ou retours selon l’heure). Je l’ai installée sur une porte PVC sans problème, le gabarit fourni aide beaucoup. Rapport qualité-prix imbattable, surtout pour ce format large qui convient même à un chat costaud. Bref, simple, propre et efficace, je recommande sans hésiter 🐾

Fitted easily. Problem with our small dog resetting the locks, jammed them in in/out sting. Magnet fell out of frame so glue in. Good unit despite a few addressable issues.
