Works as designed. Keeps truck cool and protected
great product, have purchased two. cover fabric does brake down in the FL heat after being up for 2.5 years. keeps my f150 cool in the fl heat. keeps oak and other tree debris off. works as designed and buying my third in 7 years. wind in fl has not been a problem for me. will take it down when hurricanes come but other than that it is up seasons. would like to see replacement covers available.

Flimsy and is practically un-usable in any whether!
This absolutely one of the WORST things I have ever bought!!!A complete waste of money! I bought one to use for my Lexus ES350 to cover my car in front of my house as I do not use the car on a daily bases. First of all the deployment of the umbrella is fine, but adjusting the straps is a time-consuming task, they have to be adjusted every time you deploy the umbrella since the base is not exactly in the same position every time. The other thing that makes this a useless product is the fact that is truly flimsy. The slightest, and I do mean, slightest breeze, once it catches the umbrella under the canopy, one of two things will happen, either the umbrella cover will detach from the push buttons on the framework, leaving the car exposed partially, or that the flimsy plastic joints will rupture and the frame will fall apart. I literally had this product for two (2) days before it broke, and THERE IS NO WIND around. It takes 10 minutes to deploy and another 10 to pack up. In my opinion, it is not worth getting at all, not even at half the price!

Best bang for your buck automatic car tent
Great product. First installation is critical so you know where to place it from there on out. Fits on my Toyota Tundra like a charm. The wind can take apart the elbows but they easily snap back in place. Even on windy days I leave it on because here in Miami it’s extremely hot and it helps a lot with the temperature inside the car.. almost 20 degree difference! No joke. This thing is better than paying the city for a permit for a permanent car port here in Miami $120 yearly. I’ve had this since March and it’s been amazing. No color degradation and the motor works fantastic.

Best money I spent
I would give it 5 stars if it was truly immaculate but it is not.Cons: Does not do well with wind. Setting up in the wind you basically have a sail and if theres not two of you.... you're going for a ride. With a setup in the wind, the wind will fold the umbrella back. Just gonna have to suck it up.Wish the straps were easier to adjust so i can strap it down and then unfold the umbrella. But overall, don't use em in the wind.Suction mount for my car sucks though....i Do not really rely on that, but the straps do the job just fine without it.Pros: With reference to the wind, if it is strong enough it will rip the fabric off of the frame but they are fastened on their by a tight push/snap button thing so it doesn't damage the sheet or the frame and you can rebutton it afterwards. It really makes a difference in the heat. Just like parking your car under some tree shade.I have had this umbrella for about a year now. Love it. Idk about the damage some others have mentioned even when the wind took it, but nonetheless its fine.

Works as intended… but
The material on the umbrella is really cheap and mine already has 2 holes in it that will probably get bigger overtime

Nice product that cannot be used with wind above 9 miles an hour or it will be destroyed.
I really like this product however there is one major problem. Wind. Any wind over 10 miles an hour you cannot use this product. It will be turned wrong side out. I ended up using 10, yes 10 bunge cords everywhere to keepThe shade from turning wrong side out at wind of 9 miles an hour. Would be perfect for the hot sun here in South Florida as I travel quite a bit and my car sits in the sun for long periods of time. You have to consistently watch it to see that the wind is not going to destroy it. If there was no wind or if the wind remained under 9 to 10 miles an hour, it would be a perfect product. It was delivered fully set up and the battery was fully charged. The suction is very good as I placed it on my sunroof glass. Very strong. But the shade itself is very flimsy like a piece of paper, too bad.

The coolest car shade ever.
If you want a super neat, compact, total WOW factor car shade look no further than this one. It is very compact for how large it opens up. Suctions down onto your roof with a very firm hold. Expanding it with the remote is super cool. If you bring this to a car event it will bring a crowd around your car just for the tent, let alone how awesome your car may or may not be. :)The edges of the arms are protected with rubber so they won't damage your car if they touch it. Plenty of tie-downs around the tent to keep it attached to your car under normal conditions. It should be self-explanatory but I would not use this tent in a super high wind situation. If you live in a very high wind area I suggest getting a normal car cover with multiple tie-downs under the car chassis. However, under normal conditions this car shade rocks. And it keeps debris off the car surprisingly well.

Great for the desert
This is awesome. I live in Palm Springs and it is hot, hot, hot here in the summer. Even with a window shade in place the steering wheel would be to hot to touch not to mention the interior so hot it can make you queasy. The umbrella does bring the temperature down and makes having to drive a little more bearable. It is best to practice putting it on and taking it off of the car at home a few times before putting it up in a parking lot. It attracts a lot of attention and if you are clumsy putting it up it can be embarrassing. I know from experience! It has handled some wind but I would not leave it up in a high sustained wind situation. I think I am the only person in Palm Springs that has one, so far. There has been a lot of interest in it and a lot of questions.
