An Adventure in Statistics: The Reality Enigma

This book makes stats interesting and fun. A true masterpiece!

When I was a psychology undergraduate I did have a hard tie with stats modules - and Andy’s books (including his famous SPSS book) helped me a lot. All I can say is, you won’t regret purchasing it. It will not only help your 1st and 2nd year stats modules, it’s very likely you’ll need it for your degree dissertation - and to be honest I even saw MSc and PhD student using it (the first edition).

Such a clever way to teach statistics and makes it interesting.

I enjoyed the book a lot.

The author tells a story in an attempt to explain statistical analysis. It may work for some, but not me. However, the book is at the elementary statistics level, so some may enjoy it.
