I put this together by myself with an exception of the final part - the movable top piece. It’s easy to assemble as long as you pay attention (not like you have to focus real hard) but it literally has numbers and an order to it! I recommend having an extra set of hands or two for the final piece which is the top movable piece because it’s not that easy to drill the screws in when it wants to slide and dip down!It’s sturdy as hell once you get it all together though! It’s cute, classy, and has plenty of storage space! The moving part is quite the best part though since it takes away our need for dinner trays!The inside of the moving piece can hold many books, or a couple of blankets, or it can hold any extras, or just paperwork and mail. It’s not THAT big, but it’s still a hidden storage space. ;)The three slots below are also nifty! Can be used for storage or small decorations. Overall, I highly recommend if you’re wanting a sturdy, decently priced, and slick looking coffee table!

Very sturdy table for the. The table was a little time consuming, maybe an hour and a half for me and my husband but we took our time. I would purchase this brand again.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but there are definitely a few flaws. For assembly, the different parts of the table were clearly labeled and it was easy to see what piece went where. However they didn't predrill holes for the little black screws, making them a bit of a challenge to screw in. Also the screw holes on the metal lift that attaches to the table top are in direct line with the bar of that metal lift, making it very difficult to get a screw driver in the space. That combined with the lack of predrilled holes makes it impossible to get the screws in straight.It took a little over 3 hours with two people working on it. One of the legs doesn't line up flush with the edge like the other legs do, but it doesn't seem to make a big difference when the table top is down. When raising or lowering the table top, you do have to use both hands because the two lift arms don't lift together. The lifting/lowering is a bit wobbly because of this, but when its down or up fully, the top is very stable. Lots of storage space and overall it looks nice. The wood top is a medium colored "wood" that I really like.Overall I'm happy with this piece of furniture and would recommend it for anyone not looking to spend a lot on a coffee table but wanting lots of storage options.

Being the adult that I am this is what I asked my mom to get me for Christmas. It was supposed to arrive Christmas Eve but got here on the 4th of Jan. No biggie I knew it prob wouldn’t make it. Took me forever to put together only because I wasn’t in the mood but it’s simple and fast an hour maybe two. The only part I didn’t like was the extra screws for the hinges that go on the sides not all were pre drilled so I had to do small pilot holes to make my life easier the other thing was attaching the top was a pain. What made it easier was putting the table on its side longways up top open so I could attach the screws. Top is a bit wobbly when you pull the top up if your aren’t grabbing from the center or using two hands. Anyways, It looks amazing. The wood is good and sturdy and looks super clean. The bottom squares I thought were gonna be bigger they measure 18” x 12”x 8”h. I thought it was going to be taller.

It does take some time to assemble, due to the sturdiness and weight, as well as the brackets for the extension for the desk. You will need a drill to help with starting some of your holes. I am a single mom, and I read some reviews before purchasing, so I was prepared for drilling and to take my time with this project. It was definitely worth it the purchase and the time it took to assemble. I am really impressed with the quality of this beautiful coffee table/desktop. I just love the all the extra visible and hidden storage. I love to use it as desk for my laptop, and sometimes the kids and I use it as a table to eat off of when we want a dinner and movie night. When I need to cleanup for company, just tuck the extra things under the desk lid and close it up. It does take two hands to open the desk up and close it. I love that there is a lip for when you are closing the desk that you do not pinch your fingers on. I would recommend others to purchase and make it a new furniture addition.

Easy to put together, sturdy, and just a functional and lovely table in front of my sofa. I bought the white and its very pretty. Good table for the money! You won’t be sorry.

The table is functional and looks great in my living room but the mechanism to get it up and down is less sturdy than I expected. I usually have to put my foot on the bottom for leverage and when moving it up and down the top wobbles and almost tilts as if one side is moving separately/differently than the other side. It's affordable enough to know it's not high end so I can't really be upset about it but I don't think I would recommend it for the above reasons.
