So many neat trinkets included!
I had these sunglasses on my list for years without pulling the trigger on them. When I needed to order refills for my Zebra pen at work, I had to reach the $35 threshold to qualify for free shipping, but since I hardly buy anything here anymore, I didn't know what to buy. Intro the Woodies! I've never had Wayfarer style sunglasses before, and since the price was extremely nice, I ordered immediately. Now that I have them in my hands I'm just chuffed with this purchase. These shades look good on pretty much everyone, and I'm no exception. The lenses are nice and dark and these will be a very nice companion for me on my bike journeys. But what has me here today writing this review are the little knick knacks included in the package. You get a cleaning cloth, a bag, a reasonably stiff case to store them in, a guitar pick, and even a novelty Monopoly card insisting I head to the beach at my earliest convenience. I plan on doing just that as soon as possible! I'm not sure how long the shiny plastic coating will last up against my quite corrosive skin, but if I get a year out of these, it was money well spent. These shades are great, and I can't wait to wear them out in some proper sunlight. Cheers to those at Woodies, and I'm sure even Pamela will gladly help me out if I ever need it. Thanks guys!

Excellent sunglasses for the price, but superior customer service!! Seriously, I was blown away with their customer service.
I love these sunglasses. I've been wanting something like Raybans or Oakley Holbrooks but just couldn't bring myself to pay over $100 for another pair of sunglasses. I knew there had to be another solution to get polarized lenses in a frame that had similar styling. I stumbled upon these while searching the web. I read up on their history and focus and really liked what they're about, plus they're somewhat local to me and I like supporting the small local businesses. So I purchased them right before taking a vacation. I figured if I ruined or lost a pair, hey they're only $25 and I'll pick up another pair and still pay half of what my last Oakleys cost me. When I got these, first I was impressed in the stuff you get with them. Carrying case, cleaning cloth, and some swag. Plus I thought it was hilarious when I saw the card about his mom as the customer service rep. While I was on vacation I noticed and email from their account (thinking it was one of the automated ones you get after purchasing) I almost disregarded it, but decided to respond anyway. Not even 10 minutes after my response, they responded with another email in regards to the one I sent. I was completely surprised in the quickness of the response and the fact someone was actually on the other end, reading and replying to these. So using the sunglasses on vacation in the Dominican Republic (took the beach motto to heart), I instantly fell in love with these. When I got home, I noticed some streaking in the lenses. I cleaned the lenses the day before we left but thought nothing of it. I'm pretty sure I cleaned them improperly and caused the streaking. Either way, I reached out to their customer service email explaining what was going on, mentioning I probably cleaned them improperly as the streaking wasn't ON the lenses but IN them, like the polarization was streaking, which happens if you use a detergent cleaner instead of just water. They responded very quickly asking for pictures of the issue, to which I provided. They again, immediately responded asking for my address and information along with proof of purchase. They sent me another pair within a few days, no charge!! I asked where to send the pair that had issues, and they told me not to worry about it. I couldn't believe the level of customer service they provided me, or how quickly they responded. They could've easily used my own statement to void my warranty (which most big companies would do) but they didn't. They took care of the customer and in doing so they gained a customer for life. I'll keep buying these sunglasses as long as I can see. Don't hesitate at all to purchase Woodies.

Quality + Cool = Woodies Sunglasses
I snagged a pair of these sunglasses on a daily deal. I didn't really need another pair of sunglasses (I must have 15 pairs or so), but I like the wayfarer style and the fact that the bows are made of wood. Boy am I glad I bought them. They are very lightweight, oversized without being ridiculously big, definitely block the sun and look amazing on. I got the ebony color, and the bows are definitely black with a little of the wood grain showing through. They are etched with the "Woodies" name (subtly) on the outside of the bows, and the inside reads "~See you at the beach~", which I thought was an adorable detail. I like my lenses very dark, and these decidedly are. You can't see my eyes behind the lenses at all. They are perfect for bright, sunny days. The bows have good tension on them, and when you fold them up they kind of snap into place. A lot of sunglasses end up very flimsy at the hinges, and I'm guessing that won't be the case with Woodies. You get a really nice case with the glasses, plus some other accessories - a cloth drawstring bag for the sunglasses, a Woodies sticker, a microfiber cleaning cloth, a cute guitar pick, a Monopoly-style card ordering you to go directly to the beach and a card with service contact info. I could not be more please with my purchase, and I recommend the sunglasses and the company whole-heartedly!

Good but don’t drop
Just as good if not better than my RayBans I lost. I didn’t want to spend the money but wanted something similar if not better, if possible. These glasses look great, they protect my eyes and feel great. But, I dropped mine and the lens fell out and luckily I was able to pop them back into place. I’ve read another review warning us on dropping them. Great glasses for the value but not as indestructible as RayBan.

Great Shades and Better buy and just as good as pricey ones
Wow. I was on the fence on these, then got them for Christmas, and they are awesome. The case is heavy and protective, it comes with a clothe, a pick, even a cool bracelet. But the shades are the fantastic. I love the concept of wood instead of plastic for the side bands, I think the front part is plastic. I own several pairs of Ray Bans, one pair from the early 1980's, and while I love them too, these Woodies look just as good, feel just as heavy, and seem top shelf quality. The lenses are great. I doubt a person could tell these weren't Ray Bans from 10 feet away. SO if you want quality sunglasses, made in the USA not China or Italy, and you'd rather spend $25 instead of $200, you will not be disappointed. Just think, with the money you save, you could buy second pair for a back up, a bathing suit, cooler, an Oontz Bluetooth speaker, a beach hat, a towel, and tent or umbrella, and some flip flops. A whole day at the beach for the cost of one set of Ray Bans. I hate to admit it, but there is not a $175, nore even a $5 difference in quality between these brands. Go USA.

Love love love them. Was going for expensive RBs, gave these a try, never looked back.
I love them. Compared with my wife's unisex Ray Bans of the same style and there's no notable difference in lens quality nor build. The earpieces take some getting used to. I'm not sure if it's the wood or the weight or the shape but I do notice that after prolonged wear, it's a relief to take them off. My guess is that this isn't a Woody's trait so much as a wayfarer style trait. My Knoxville XLs didn't do it, but they were so large as to not fit as well, either. Anyway, I'll probably keep a pair of sport glasses around for cycling, hiking, outdoor activities that require hours and hours of eye protection. But for days out on the town, these look great, and the value is outstanding. Plus, they come with cool freebies like a wristband (won't use), a sticker (stuck to the filing cabinet), and a guitar pick (awesome). Couldn't recommend more. Plus, fakespot gives them an A for review integrity, so you know there's no fake pandering; these glasses are actually this good. If you're shopping for wayfarers, give these a try before you drop five times the cash on another brand.

Waste of Money.
I had hope for these sunglasses as there seems to be many positive reviews, but unfortunately I’m really disappointed. I bought these as a Christmas gift. When the item arrived, I opened the package to examine the sunglasses. Upon first look, the glasses seemed really nice. But the lenses were a little smudged, so I tried to wipe them. As I was doing so, one of the lenses popped right out. I was barely applying any pressure at all, so it should not have popped out so easily. After examining the sunglasses more closely, I noticed the lens actually wiggles quite a bit in the frame. It’s not sturdy at all. I realize these aren’t brand name, high quality glasses, but they definitely shouldn’t be faulty right out of the packaging. As a result, I decided to start the refund process. But for some reason it says the item is not eligible for a refund, even tho I’m within the 30 days. I then decided to try to contact the seller, but there is no link, email address, or phone number to refer to. So now I will try to directly contact amazon to see if they can help me.

Bang for your buck
Stellar shades! The ebony wood is so dark you can hardly tell it's wood. I don't mind it though. They fit my face great and have a very lightweight yet sturdy build. I've owned Ray Ban wayfarers previously and feel no difference in quality between them and Woodies glasses. The lenses are on the darker side, but I also have very sensitive eyes when it comes to light. They also include a great carrying case and cleaning cloth along with some stickers and a guitar pick. For the level of quality at this price point, I'm not sure you can find a better value in polarized sunglasses. Keep up the great work Woodies! I'll surely be a lifetime customer. In my opinion,
