I recently tried the Fairy Tales Kids Shampoo and Conditioner for my little ones, and it has quickly become a staple in our bath time routine. First impression- cleansed well without drying out my scalp. I’m 41, and have spent my entire life battling dry itchy scalp and flakes. Anything I’ve tried either makes me too greasy, dries me out more, or works for like 3 times then I’m back to my usual dry itchy greasy hair. It’s beyond frustrating. Anyway, I follow cancelthisco and he’s been talking a lot about this brand so I finally gave it a try. My hair is clean, but still soft, and no flakes so far. I did add some sugar cookie conditioner to theirs because I love the smell of that one. And I have bleached ends so I wasn’t sure if the conditioner would be enough to totally soften those really dry ends.

I have a tender headed, strong willed kid with thick, straight, fine hair. After 5 years of tears, screaming, running from the hairbrush, trying every spray, different brushed, bribery, distraction, threats, begging, bargaining, reward systems, different conditioners- nothing worked to detangle her hair without making it oily or heavy. We have both shed tears and it felt awful. No More! I wish I found this years ago. It smells delicious - like a yummy pear papaya fruit salad- and in no way overpowering. She felt like a big kid using shampoo then conditioner, instead of the terrible 3 in 1's, which make the hair flat and lifeless. When we ran a brush through after using for the first time- it was like BUTTER. Absolutely no tears. It was the mother/daughter nurturing hair brushing sesh I've been craving for half a decade. No complaints, whining, crying, or drama. I would pay double - just because I don't have to coax her out from under the dining room table anymore. We usually wash hair once every other day or every two days, and her hair stays shiny and bouncy. She plays hard at school, and this product gets mud, marker, stickers, sweat, food, and whatever else a preschooler can manage, right out. I would like to hug whoever made this product. My only issue- it's not tear free- the makers of product explain their commitment to using natural ingredients- I get it but I wish it was tear free, especially for kids learning to wash their own hair. However, my kid got the shampoo in her eyes once, screamed bloody murder, seemed to learn her lesson, and it hasn't seemed to be an issue again. I'm buying the body wash!

Great lather and scent with ingredients you can trust.

Smell could be better and unclear if it’s tear free or not but my kids hair feels great and at least there’s no artificial scents. The conditioner has done wonders for my toddlers curls. They look fabulous now. It is quite silky and has to be washed out well to get it all out.

My hair is amazing! I had to shave my hair recently, and it's growing more than a half inch a month! Super thick too, is finally looking as thick and healthy as my daughter's. Not just for kids❣️

The shampoo smells great, very refreshing and it suds up well. The conditioner, while it does make my children's hair soft and smooth, the smell is not good. I don't know why there's such a difference in scent between the two, but the conditioner smells like clay or something with only a very subtle pear/papaya fragrance mixed in.
