Will this work for pools shorter than 48inches? My pool is only about 42 inches tall?

I believe it would work with shorter pools. It’ll just be much taller than necessary. There will be a large gap between the top step and pool so it may feel shaky.

I'm confused about how it should not be used with intex/inflatable/pop-up style pools. will it work with a 24 ft x 52 inch intex prism frame pool?

I have an Intex 18ft x 52 inch pool. I ordered these steps and installed them on my pool, they are amazing. I think the inflatable or pop up pol would not be stable enough for these steps as they are very sturdy. I am very pleased.

What did you cut the parts with to separate them?

does this include steps inside the pool AND outside the pool?

This system has steps inside and out. Some do not so make sure you read the description carefully.I noticed a big price difference if it only had outside stairs ($400 compared to $800-1000).
