A little tricky to use, but makes a great nail.
I've only used this once so far, but the nail I made lasted FOREVER! It was a bit tricky to figure out the best way to get this attached and cured, but after a couple failed attempts, I found that it worked well if I left it on the roll and spread out the fibers and placed them in an uncured layer of builder gel, did an initial cure and then I could cut it off and add additional layers of builder gel until I was satisfied.I ended up making it quite thick and my first gel polish application had a visible line that (only?) I could see. But after a couple of weeks when my manicure needed refreshing, I used my nail drill to get all the polish off and smooth out that bump and reduce some of the thickness. I don't seem to have any photos of that initial polish, but the pink one in my photo was the second manicure I did with this nail still on. I ended up doing two more after that and finally took it off once my natural nail grew out to better match my other nails.

Promising concept; not for beginners
This product is conceptually great, but it has a steep learning curve, and the instructions leave much to be desired. It was tough cutting the fibers in one go without them separating to much. I had a hard time getting these fibers to stick to any substance (base gel, builde gel, gel resin glue). I also had a hard time navigating the curvature of the surface of my nails. The fibers seemed to want to stick straight out instead of curving. I feel like I had to use quite a bit of builder gel to stabilize them. Once I got them on and put a couple coats of builder gel on them, the buffing was easy. The filing was not. I found that filing just cause the fibers to split again. The worst part from all this was the splinters. It is probably best to use gloves; that's just hard to do on yourself. I can't totally knock the product because I am a novice. Someone more experienced probably would have a better experience. I seen how fiberglass could make beautiful, lightweigt extensions. That sais, if you, too, are a novice, proceed with caution.
