This brings the hot heat
Very nice heat. Not overly hot for the experienced ‘hot head.’ Newbies exercise care.

Works on Chewing Dogs
Have a silver lab who chews. We got our deck replaced, they had to remove the bottom layer of siding and chimney wood to get the old deck up and put the new deck down. They exposed the wood from the chimney area, and our dog thought it was a free for all.He has a personal trainer. She recommended I put hot sauce on it to stop him from causing more damage. I googled hot sauces and decided on this one.First day, he licked it than went and drank all the water in his bowl. A couple days later went back and chewed, but than ran and ate dirt (assuming to get the taste out of his mouth) becuase he has never eaten dirt before...Third time he chewed, I removed his water and put him right in his crate so he can sit there and think about what he did and have the hot sauce on his tongue for 2 hours.I waited 6 months before making this review... he has not gone to that area since his third time chewing and leaving it on his tongue for a couple hours.Would definitely recommend for chewing dogs. I came back and bought a couple back ups for just in case.Note: If your not use to hot sauce...I do recommend wearing gloves while handling this. The sauce got in a little cut on my finger and it burned for about 12 hours.

Good Step Up from El Yucatano Sauces
This is a transition sauce, no doubt about it. If you enjoy relatively hot habanero sauces, like El Yucatano red, green and extra hot among others, this is a decent step up, but not too much. The amount of heat is nothing like some of the more extreme sauces, but you can titrate up the amount you use to set your mouth on fire, if desired. Start with a few drops and go from there. My only compliant is that the flavor is not the best. It has a smokey, sweet (cinnamon maybe?) type flavor that I don’t particulary care for. Plus, its made from CHILI EXTRACT, which is not optimal. With that being said, there arent many other sauces around 150,000 Scoville units. I think this is where you want to be when going from red hot, El Yucatano, tabasco, etc, to the hotter sauces. If you havent had El Yucatano habanero sauces, start there first. But if you have tried those and are desiring more heat (but know you can’t handle the crazier sauces), try this one. You’ll be hapoy you did.

Great sauce! Flow restrictor would be nice.
Great sauce. Probably my favorite flavor of any Mad Dog sauce. Wish it was a bit hotter. Would also be great if it came with a flow restrictor insert to allow for more controlled pours.

Hot and tasty
Few hot sauces are tasty. Pay respect to it when applying - no fooling around about how much of a man you are, drinking it. Maybe you are a brute. But food is meant to give you pleasure, and fill your guts, not your vanity.

The FIRE of 357 Mad Dogs back from the dead.
Taste: A good wholesome classic barbecue sauce flavor plus the FIRE of 357 Mad Dogs back from the dead.Heat: First I tried two pea-sized dollops on a saltine. In this small quantity it was a real good burn free of crying and nose blowing but made whole with the urge to let out a soft moan.Next time I tired the Mad Dog I was at a gathering with family and the desire to impress was high. Because this is an open top bottle--no dropper nozzle on it or anything of the sort. I dumped about a tablespoon on my Triscuit by mistake. Now I know what you're thinking; did he continue on and take it like a man or did the scrape it off like a "Tabasco is hot" newbie?Hell yes I scraped it off--ambulance rides are expensive--this was a family get-together, not my funeral! Left on my Triscuit was a fine, thin layer of the Mad Dog... covering the entire Triscuit; I'm going to guess maybe 6-7 pea sized helpings of The Mad Dog. As I started to chew the fire grew. The pain I felt in my neck from a car accident months ago went away. The throbbing in my sprained toe dissipated. The discomfort of standing too long was no more. All that remained was the fire; the sweet sweet fire and the burn. An intense unadulterated pepper inferno that had been missing from my life for years was finally mine. It hurt so good. So good the sweat came to my face. So good the nose blowing was dehydrating. Then the endorphins rushed in like the perfect kiss after a first date, akin to jumping in a cool lake on a hot summer's day--the cherry on top! Perfectly complemented by the Bourbon I was sipping I rode the Pain-High for about an hour. And then did it all over again. Good stuff.

Tasty Pain
I've been looking for a good hot sauce for my husband, who adores a hot sauce that literally makes his eyes water but also has a good FLAVOR. He often tells me (as I am not a fan of tasty pain) that a lot of hot sauces can bring the heat, but that they often have little to no flavor, or simply taste like vinegar. If you're a fan of spicy hot vinegar, I suppose there's nothing wrong with that! But my husband was looking for a hot sauce that had a punch in both heat and taste. A lot of the common grocery store (that we could find locally) were a bit of a disappointment for him.So I spent some time doing a little research and reading the reviews as well as watching some of the videos for some hot sauces. Mad Dog 357 caught my eye specifically because one of the reviewers reminded me much of my husband: someone who tried a lot of hot sauces and found they weren't spicy enough, or too spicy and not flavorfull, but they tried this one and with tears in their eyes they said they found it both!So I ordered this as a surprise tasty gift. It arrived yesterday packaged well in a box with a few other orders. The hot sauce itself had a special, very sturdy Mad Dog box that kept the glass bottle in tact. My husband immediately tried a taste, as he'd never had any Mad Dog sauces before, and he was definitely pleased! He said: "It's got a great kick and a great taste. It even smells delicious!"So thanks Amazon and Mad Dog! Look forward to bringing my husband more tasty pain! xD
