As a professional tradesperson, I need products that are reliable, easy to apply and built to last, and OB1 consistently delivers. It has excellent initial grab and bonds extremely well to a wide range of materials, even in situations where other products can struggle. The finish is neat, it tools nicely, and it cures to a strong yet flexible seal that stands up well to movement, moisture and changing weather conditions. One of the biggest advantages is its versatility. Whether I’m sealing, bonding or carrying out repairs, it’s often the first product I reach for. It also adheres well to slightly damp surfaces, making it particularly useful for emergency repairs. Found this about 10 years ago. Sealed round the bath which has an overhead shower and is used about 6 times a day (two footballing sons!) it just started crumbling last week so I had to skim the surface and re-cover to tidy up. I reckon if I’d used ordinary bathroom silicone I’d have had to re-do two or three times by now. Long lasting, cleaner to work with than silicone and also works well as an adhesive (I’ve used it for repairing tiles, sticking on skirting boards and all sorts.) just good stuff.
