It looks good & the cats love it! Sleek, modern, odorless, & sanitary.
The media could not be loaded. I can’t believe that after 40+ years of being owned by cats, I am only now hearing of and buying my first stainless steel cat litter pan! I guess I was trained to buy plastic because it’s the only thing available in stores. As much as I hate ads, what got my attention was an ad for “senior arthritis cats” and “stainless steel litter box”! The litter box was big (23.5 x 15.5 x 4 ) and very close to the plastic 34 qt (24 x16 x 6) storage containers currently used with the difference being 2 inches in height. Since it’s a new year and time for a new litter box, I bought one for the kitties to try! I have two senior boys (an adopted bonded pair) weighing about 17 pounds each and both with arthritis. I also have a rescued female kitten who is now about 5-6 months old who will also be using the box. The litter box will be one of 5 in the household. Anyway, straight out of its packaging I was impressed. It felt heavy duty and sturdy, it was sleek and modern looking. Now let me tell you what I like so far:Stuff I like:- Constructed with grade 304 stainless steel- Simple sleek design and size fits well into any living space- Eco-friendly and 100% recyclable- It doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel to it. The construction appears well made and durable, but not too heavy for my fragile wrists (which was a concern for me) to move with or w/o litter.- Rubber feet on the bottom prevent the pan from sliding and protects your floor from scrapes & scratches. The feet are much thicker than those on my laptop and about 1 inch in diameter.- I don’t have to worry about picking the pan up and getting cut or scratched. It has smooth rolled edges that make it safe for me and the cats interacting with the box.- The 4 inch sides make the box appear more spacious. My cats were formerly living in the wild so anything small, confining, or enclosed they will not use. This gives them that open landscape view with room to maneuver, dig & conduct business while keeping an eye out for potential threats and being easy to escape from.- It’s true, it’s also less painful for your arthritic feline to access. The low entry height is perfect especially for big senior cats with joint issues like mine. Not only is it easier on them getting in & out, but they track less litter with the low sides. The boys now walk in-and-out from the box vs the jump/hop out of the box when finished.- The litter box does not smell! Stainless steel is non-porous so will not absorb or retain odors! Unlike plastic, your cat’s digging & covering activities will not develop scratches in the box that overtime absorbs urine to give you that strong ammonia cat pee odor. If you smell anything, it will be the litter or rather the “pee or poo clumps” that have been made in-between your cleanings.- It’s easier to clean and more hygienic. You don’t have to deal with plastic “leaching” and bacterial build-up. I have been cleaning the box with a plastic scoop that has been super easy on the non-stick surface coating (so far). I have yet to encounter any difficult pee clumps or sticky pancake residue that adheres to the sides, corners or bottom (everything kinda ‘pours’ out with a pan tilt). *It may also depend on your litter & frequency of cleaning.Overall, there’s not much to not like, since the pros outweigh the cons. Yes, stainless steel will cost you more upfront and it does conduct temperature which makes it cooler than plastic, but you won’t need to replace it due to odors, chips & cracks. This box will probably last a lifetime and is definitely more sanitary, healthier, easier to clean, non corrosive, and odorless. Think of it as the forever box for your forever cat! I really do like the litter pan and my cats love it as well which is what really counts! 5- stars! As always, will update should things change.

Sturdy and clean
This is the best litter box I have had for my cat in 30 years. It is very sturdy and does not retain odors. It is easy to clean and the right height for holding the litter. I saw the same thing in a local pet store for $20 more, so I thought this was a good value.

NO SMELL
Easy to scoop, no smell, very easy to set up. My cat is a crazy scooper/cover it upper so the little goes everywhere - him problem not a product issue.

Great litter box
I love this litter box. It’s a little bit smaller than the last one I had but I prefer this one over any plastic litter box. This is so easy to clean and doesn’t retain the smell of the urine.

Benefit of a Doubt is Given
Cant wait to see if my Loki likes it. It came with a few dings and very light surface scratches. Lets see where those light scratches leads us. I will update this review.

Yes to this litter box! No more smelly gross litter
AMAZING! NO smells. Easy to clean. Pee doesn't stick to it forever. Cats love it as well. I use an old plastic tub to keep it in with a cardboard lid. Works great and is sturdy not filsmy.

Excellent litter box, no odor!
I LOVE these litter boxes. I am switching from plastic boxes to the stainless steel. The litter is much easier to scoop out and they hold way less odor. The size is perfect and the height is tall enough that my cats are not kicking litter everywhere but my elderly cat can still easily climb in. I am definitely going to replace the rest of my boxes with these!
