These kids are learning how to read and trying to learn proper grammar in school. Using they/them for 1 person is so confusing to a kid. It’s not necessary to push this on elementary kids. Review: Grammatical Errors - The 3rd story (i.e. Zombies 3) is plagued with grammatical errors. The author clearly doesn’t understand singular vs plural pronouns unless the character, Aspen, is schizophrenic; however, her mental illness is never mentioned in the movie. In fact, she seems like a very nice female alien. This deviation from reality should have been caught by editors as it is very confusing to children. This book should be removed from shelves and corrected since it is intended to be a learning tool.

WARNING: Groomer Agenda for 5-8 year olds
I am absolutely furious with Disney for this book that is recommended for 5 - 8 year olds. I did not like the subtle agenda in the Zombies 3 movie, and I didn't even know that this included the 3rd movie in the book. I was SHOCKED to open up the front cover to see the characters pronouns so obviously in your face. My daughter was so confused by this, and I did not expect to have to discuss this with my 7 year old. Let kids be kids! Disney should be ashamed of themselves!!

Pronouns for kids who don’t even know what a pronoun is
The very first page has the “pronouns” of the main characters. Why are they trying to push this for little children who haven’t even learned what a pronoun is and just starting to read? Leave our children alone.

Not for us

Stop pushing a narrative on our kids!
There is no need to include “they/them” pronouns in a children’s book for a character that is female! The movie doesn’t even use these pronouns, so why is it included in the book? Throwing our copy in the trash!

Pronouns
This book starts off showing the characters “pronouns”. Wondering how that’s relevant to the story line. Otherwise, the book has lots of pages with easy to read words.

A mi hija de 7 años le ha encantado. Se lo trajo “el ratón Pérez”, y, aunque no sabe leer bien en inglés, lo leemos juntas con mucha ilusión. Entiende algunas palabras, otras se las explico yo pero con los dibujos, y si has visto la peli, se entiende perfectamente. La verdad es que está muy bien para que vaya practicando el reading. Y nada mejor que Zombies para motivarla.

Have not read it yet. Flipped through the book and I’m sure granddaughter will enjoy reading this book as she loves watching the Zombie movies.

My 6.5 year old loved it with a few stumbles on some of the bigger words but she loved it. It’s a good summary of what happens in each of the three movies
