I installed the previous serpentine belt on my car 9 years ago. When my alternator gave up the ghost recently, I decided to order a new belt as a precaution when I ordered a replacement alternator. I should have saved my money, because the old AC Delco belt was still in near perfect condition.On an LT1 Caprice with dual electric fans replacing the belt is one of the easiest things you can do. Just make sure you have a good long wrench and be sure to note how the belt threads through the pulleys. There should be a sticker with a diagram somewhere under the hood. It's easier with 3 hands, so get a helper if you can, but it can be done by one person.

Slapped her on my 1994 roadmaster wagon with a new tensioner. Got rid of my shift squeal and the lights that were dimming.

Installed a new pulley and the belt started squealing. Put this baby on and it's whisper quiet. 96 Chevy Impala SS with LT1.

Old belt chirped for about half hour in the morning (due to a coolant leak from a failing water pump). After this new belt was installed, the chirping went away.

I bought this for a 1995 Impala SS LT1 350. Fit perfectly.
