Effective for fruit flies!
Good stuff. A few days up it was a bug graveyard. Gross but, you get the point. Just be careful taking it out of the little can. It will break if you don't do it gently. I try to slowly twirl it as it comes out. A word of caution: Do NOT put this in walk ways or where you could bump into it bc not only will you be stuck in the hardcore goo of the strip but, all the dead bugs to boot. Not a lot fun.

dose not lure gnats flys they have to land on it or fly into it accidently
well it catches those pesty gnats if they not smart lol not affective you need a fly strip that has a sweet scent if you really want to get them it will work if they accidently fly into it or land on it to but it dose not draw them in you will need to pull and twist the tape before hanging it

PIC brand
I live in FL. Summers are brutal with flying bugs especially now with our summer rains. PIC brand found locally years ago has always worked very well. Purchased now in 2024 I’m not so sure.I’m trying out these new PIC ones in three areas of my home including the screened in patio and I see only one flying bug so far on one. I find this odd. These tubes look the same, spiral down the same, and are very sticky but only time (more than a week) will tell whether they are effective.I can only hope this seller got them from a reputable source as the times we live in are so full of scammers.

Great for teenagers, not so much for flies
I had a fly problem and put this up near where they seemed to be coming from. Installation was easy. However, it didn't catch many of the flies. I think I count two. However, teenagers it traps like a charm. What an unexpected surprise! So if you have a teenager problem, put these up around the house, it will capture them in less than a day. And if they get away before you get to the trap, as they tend to do, don't worry, they forget about the trap and get caught in it again, and again, and again.

Take That!!
After buying a house from a bank where we found one cat and her two kittens, we were also greeted with an onslaught of flies in the master bedroom, upstairs batheroom, and the kitchen. Put up 3 of these, one in each room and in a matter of 3 days we turned the tables on these flies. The stickies are almost full. there has to be like 20 or more flys, gnats, and fruit flys. They're getting the job done on a set it and forget it basis. The one in the master bedroom I hung up in the middle of the room right next to the light, since the flies love flying around it. The one in the bathroom, I put up in a corner between the window and the toilet, and the one in the kitchen I hung just between the fridge and the stove since we tend to put fruits on top of the fridge. All hanging from the ceiling. Mission accomplished. I'm ordering some more now, just to be sure that the job is complete, and because they're filling up.

Fruit flies don't stand a chance
I used this tape as part of an evil Take Down The Fruit Flies scheme and it worked beautifully.I put a 1/2-inch of balsamic or red wine vinegar in the bottom of a cup and then coated the outside of the cup in this fly tape. All of the fruit flies flocked to the smell, but the moment they touched down to inspect it, they were stuck to the tape.In just one day, my two traps caught almost ALL of the fruit flies that have been plaguing us. Of course, the tape is very gross to look at, but there aren't any more flies buzzing around irritating us. YAY!Love this stuff. Stocking up on more in case any future outbreaks happen.

Chemical smell, plus didn't work
Every now and then we get overwhelmed with flies - our best guess is that the cats catch a mouse that gets away and dies in the walls somewhere. I used fly paper many times before with great success. I never paid much attention to brand. This stuff looked just like other flypaper I've used in the past, but upon opening it, it reeked with a strong chemical odor that made me feel sick. Desperate to get rid of some of the flies, I tried hanging them up anyway. I watched flies come in for a landing then change their minds after almost touching down. Perhaps they found the smell as repulsive as I did. Of the few that did land, after a minor struggle they broke free and flew off again. Are you kidding me?!? After enduring the stench in order to get these things up, they didn't even stick the flies?!? I threw the whole lot out.In the past the fly paper I've used has never had a strong chemical odor like these AND stuck to the flies. I see that there's lots of people here who say theirs didn't smell and worked fine, so perhaps I got a bad batch. However, I can only rate based on what I received, and what I got was awful crud that smelled like a plastics manufacturing factory dumped its sewage into my kitchen.

Worked great
I got this for a fruit fly and gnat infestation. It worked fine and trapped all the bugs. It was a good value for the money.
