Reliable, Long-Lasting Defense Against Bugs
After dealing with a steady stream of ants and spiders around my home, I gave this insect killer a try—and it has completely exceeded expectations. I applied it both inside and along the exterior perimeter, focusing on common entry points like baseboards, doors, and window frames. Within a day, the pests were gone. The comfort wand makes application simple and mess-free. It’s especially helpful if you want to avoid bending or getting your hands near surfaces. The spray dries quickly, has no lingering odor, and doesn’t leave behind any visible residue. It’s ideal for indoor use, even in high-traffic areas or homes with kids. One of the best parts is the long-lasting barrier it creates. Weeks later, I’m still seeing results without needing to reapply. Compared to sprays that require weekly touch-ups, this one saves time and effort. For added peace of mind, I appreciate that it works just as well on outdoor pests like mosquitoes and flies, especially in areas near moisture or vegetation. Whether you’re battling bugs seasonally or year-round, this is a dependable and cost-effective alternative to hiring an exterminator.Highly recommended for anyone wanting an easy, effective solution. (Great for spiders)

Only brand to buy
I bought Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer on Amazon to help with the constant wave of summer bugs, and I’m so glad I did. This stuff really works! I used it around the baseboards inside and along the outside perimeter of my home, and within a day or two, I noticed a big difference. No more ants in the kitchen, and way fewer creepy crawlers sneaking in at night. The spray comes with a handy wand that makes it super easy to apply evenly without having to bend over or deal with messes. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave behind any strong odor or sticky residue, which I really appreciate, especially with kids in the house. It’s been a few weeks since I first applied it, and it’s still keeping the bugs away. I haven’t had to reapply yet, and our home feels way more comfortable without flies, spiders, and ants making themselves at home.If you’re looking for an easy, effective way to keep summer bugs under control, I definitely recommend this. It’s a solid product that does exactly what it promises!

Chemical works great, spray wand is a crap shoot.
The chemical works great at keeping bugs at bay. The included spray wand will sometimes just not work correctly. I've bought several of these and sometimes the wand is fine for the whole bottle, sometimes it is not.

It really works . Great job
I am so impressed! It really works ! We had so many mosquitos and flies around my house . Specially because there is a small lake in the back with so many trees and moisture levels are high. It’s been a week and the mosquito are gone . Hopefully they don’t come back anytime soon. But it is worth the money. I will buy it every month from now on to make sure mosquito don’t come back.It works %100

This may have solved my ant problem
We enjoy a summer rental and ants seem to be a reoccurring problem each year but after two treatments, I haven’t seen a living ant in two weeks. The lesson is, continue to treat every week for two weeks then monthly and your problems are solved. Battery operated sprayer is a real plus with a directional nozzle. Highly recommendedUpdate 7/20As I was preparing for this week’s treatment, the sprayer stopped working and after some troubleshooting there was still no suction with plenty of battery power.I write to ortho and here’s their response;Be sure that the end of the hose is firmly attached to the cap. Push on it until a distinct “click” is heard. The “click” indicates that the hose is attached correctly.* If have a spout on the container cap that flips up, make sure it is fully flipped up so it is straight up and down and not at an angle.* If have a knob on the cap, make sure it is turned to the "ON" position. When fully in the "ON" position, you should feel the knob click into place and the arrow on the knob will point to the middle of "ON".* Make sure that the wand is open and locked into position.* Check that the nozzle at the end of the wand is turned to an open position. There are either 2 or 3 open positions and 1 or 2 off positions (depending on wand version).* There is a lock on the trigger. Make sure that the trigger lock is not in the locked position.* Occasionally, some crystallization can clog the sprayer. After disconnecting the red plug from the cap soak the spray tip/nozzle in warm soapy water. This may dislodge any crystallized matter. The sprayer tip can be readily pulled off and snapped back on after cleaning* If this is the first time you have used the wand, be sure that the plastic protection strip has been removed from the battery compartment. The batteries will not engage until the plastic strip has been removed.* Batteries have a shelf life that will last through approximately two 1.33 bottles. It is possible that the batteries need to be replaced. The unit holds either 3 or 4 Double-A (AA) batteries (depends on the wand version). Replace the old batteries with fresh ones to see if that fixes the spraying issue.* If the sprayer motor is running and all of the above troubleshooting has been completed, the sprayer may need to be re-primed. To re-prime, place the container above the wand (either holding it above or setting it on something) and spray for 30 seconds in an area where the product can safely be dispensed. All Good advice but none of that helped with my issue.I write to Amazon and they immediately offer a no fuss replacement. This is why I love Amazon- Excellent customer service and they will continue to have my business.
