Q: Is there enough air flow?

We purchased two of these cages for our hamsters and gerbils. They are great habitats but the airflow is POOR. Some of our guys got upper respiratory infections which we attribute to air flow as everything else was fine and they were healthy in their old metal bar cages. We had to put clothes pins around the top lid to prop it open enough to create an extra opening for air to flow threw but not large enough for our guys to get out. That seems to have solved the issue but time will tell.

Q: How thick is the PET glass?

The thickness of the PET board is 1.45mm

Q: Can I use wood glue instead of rubber bands?

I’m not sure maybe if u don’t intend on moving it again. The rubber bands r very strong
