Acure Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner Set - 8 fl oz (2 Pack)

I threw all of my other shampoo/conditioner sets away and all the other hair products I was duped into purchasing. My hair is no longer falling out in globs. Smell is amazing. The acure was one of the products named in a YouTube video to actually not have questionable ingredients (fragrances with unlisted ingredients) that are truly healthy for your hair. Curly hair is thirsty annd this hydrates, now I’m hooked!

I was trying to get to hair products that do not use toxic ingredients, and apparently from what I read they all do. From a short list of those that are fully non toxic, I tried these. They come in toothpaste style tubes. You have to squeeze out the shampoo/conditioner. Not much comes out, so I never knew if that was too much or too little to work. My hair is fine, and I could not really tell any difference after switching. It's hard to get it out of the tubes, and I thought of adding a bit of water to make it flow out, but I could not get either lid off! What the heck? I still have a full container of Suave keratin shampoo and conditioner. I may go back to using those when I finish up on the Acure. ??? Hopefully my hair will not fall out, because I need all the hair I can get.

Shampoo is nice and has a pleasant almondy scent. The conditioner, however, does not moisturize or soften my hair - it’s almost zero effect. Conditioner is a waste of money, I found.

I kept seeing people recommending this brand of shampoo in non toxic fb groups, I’ve tried a few different shampoos and conditioners but this has been the best so far. I wash my hair 2 times a week, sometimes 3 and it’s been a little over a month that I’ve used this. It is awesome! Don’t let the low price dismay your choice. I got the yellow bottles-hydrating and read some people saying the smell was to too much. I don’t think it smells bad at all and it leaves my hair so smooth and clean for days. My curls/waves even look smoother. I have somewhat oily skin and scalp but I live in Colorado where it’s so dry and I feel like this is literally the best shampoo and conditioner. Def give it a whirl if you’re curious!

I ordered the ultra hydrating shampoo and conditioner and have used this brand and combo for years with the curiously clarifying shampoo every now and then. The company changed the formula and packaging and I can't say it was for the better. The shampoo is fine, it leaves my hair feelings a little silkier than it used to, so I may be using the clarifying shampoo more often, but the condition is just terrible. The ingredients in the conditioner have been changed to add an additional alcohol and the alcohols have been moved nearer to the front of the list meaning they are more of an active ingredient. This conditioner dries out my hair WHILE I'm using it in the shower. It created knots and honestly just feels like it damaging my hair. It's so awful. I love this brand and I absolutely loved the old formula, but this updated version of conditioner is just bad.
