Mini matte white - I'm happy
I'm very pleased with the size of this mixer. I've had a nice kitchen aid hand mixer my whole life but always had a smaller kitchen and though I like to bake I wouldn't say it rules my life. This smaller size fits perfectly into my cupboard with my old mixer bowl next to it. I'm looking forward to being able to add the attachments to it - especially the spiralizer and pasta maker. I've used it three times so far, mostly for low-carb dough, and I'm very happy with its ability to work dough. I purchased the matte white as it was the lowest price model and I think it works in my Scandinavian style kitchen. I'm including a photo in case anyone is interested in seeing the white model. If not white I would have bought a silver or black - but the white is nice. The white is indeed very sharp white, so you might look for it in person if you're on the fence.

This mini Kitchenaid is not as strong as the full sized but a great mixer!
I owned a reg size Kitchen aid for many years. It needed to be repaired but I found it would cost almost as much as a newKitchen aid for a new one. I saw the mini Kitchen aid on t.v. and after a year of using a hand held mixer I decided to try the smaller mixer. I LOVE it!, It's not quite as powerful as the regular sized one but I was able to make my Christmas bread, whip cream, cookie dough etc. It is much lighter in weight and fits under the counter when not being used, it is perfect!

Love it, it's just what i wanted
Love it, it's just what i wanted. I had a professional and it was always to big and never mixed my smaller batches well so once I saw they had a mini I wanted it. It's smaller and easy to move around then the regular kitchen aid yet big enough for at least 3 batches. It runs well and hasn't had any problems mixing anything I've put in it. I bought the flex edge beater and recommend it (really it should come standard with any kitchen aid). It gets everything and makes it so you don't need to scrape the bowl frequently. I wish you could get different bowls for this, and the bowl came with a handle but I understand not putting one one to keep the footprint of the machine smaller.

Great machine
Got this as a Black Friday deal and it was well worth it. I use it at least once a week. It’s quiet so I don’t feel stressed using it when the kids are asleep and I love the small size most of the time, making two loaves of bread pushes it sometimes and the dough goes up and over the dough hook guard, but that’s my fault not the machine. It also takes a little bit longer to get the right consistency when kneading as opposed to doing it by hand. But I can just switch it on and walk away which is great when I don’t have the time to stand in the kitchen. It really doesn’t take up that much counter space either.

Mini Power House Mixer
if you like the original large size mixer, you'll be pleased with this smaller version of it. it's powerful and takes up less room on your counter and when stored. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is that the satin finish is not as pretty as the glossy black. Otherwise, I am very pleased. KitchenAid rocks.

Perfect size for a small kitchen
I've been wanting to replace my mixer for a while, but do not have space for the larger/standard size. I also wanted one that was a little lighter incase I needed to store it off the counter. Overall, I'm glad I purchased this mixer. It works well for when I have needed it. The top opening is a little small with the beaters in, so you have to be careful adding ingredients. But, for me, that small trade off was well worth the smaller mixer that weighs a little less.

I can live with One minor complaint
Without opening it up to see the insides, it looks and feels sturdy and works just fine.First day we made surger cookies, frosting and chocolate chip mint cookies. My only complaint would be it's kinda difficult to pour ingredients in while it's in operation. But something I can live with, can't wait to try out the coffee cake + apple recipe from food wishes, I do really like the compact size. it's just under the size of my coffee maker

Wonderful alternative to larger mixer
I gave my granddaughter my 4 year old KitchenAid Artisan 5.5 qt. mixer, and wanted another KitchenAid product. I realized that I did not need something as large as the one I gave her, and bought the mini mixer. I love it! It is lightweight, and I can move it a lot easier than the 5.5 qt. It was large enough for me to make the holiday dips and cookies that I normally make without compromising the bowl size. I would buy another one if I had to!
