I loved this spf, as someone who’s had skin cancer multiple times now, protecting my skin is 100% a nonnegotiable (darn 80s and baby oil) this keeps me hydrated and protected at the same time! Easy, light cream like application without a weird white cast.

Hands down the best for people who have skin sensitivities and topical allergies. Doesn't leave any noticeable residue either. This is the only sunscreen that I have found that doesn't make me break out, and it doesn't require multiple applications as I normally put it on once and I'm good for multiple hours at a time. Great for kids as well.

Good sun protection, goes on easy and no slimy, greasy feel. However, if it gets in your eyes it will sting and feel uncomfortable until you flush it out. I would avoid getting it near eyes if you use it on your face.

I just opened this to try it so I can't speak on if it breaks me out but the expiration date is good it doesn't expire until next summer. It's not thick at all very liquid actually but not a messy. I skipped moisturizer today to see how the hydration will be. I have severe dry skin so we will see. Very oily, glowy, moisturizing. I used it on my face and arms. It left a beautiful glow on my face so we will see how long it's takes to soak in. No strong smell which is nice and it's a large bottle!

This sunscreen has a lightweight texture that's easily spreadable and absorbable. During spreading I can smell a chemical odor but it's gone once the lotion is absorbed. This means the product is truly fragrance free, not just unscented which uses masking fragrance to cover up the bad smell of the sunblock agents. I am not bothered by the smell as it's not the smell of spoilage. The lotion feels light on the skin and not oily/greasy, but it does leave a glossy shine on the face. The shine will subside after a period of time. It's not as tacky as many sunscreens, and it's moisturizing. Best of all it causes no breakouts or irritation whatsoever. For those with fungal acne or fungal/yeast overgrowth issues this produce is the best you can get in the US for a chemical-only sunscreen. The spray version of this sunscreen is rated the best by Consumer Reports in terms of UV protection (for an American sunscreen that is) but reviews suggest clogging problems with the sprayer. I think this lotion form is better product. I can even decant it into a smaller opaque bottle for travel. I have used this sunscreen while hiking in hot and humid weather and it performed well. No eye irritation at all since I never put any sunscreen on my forehead or eye area. I rely on hats to protect my scalp and forehead and sunglasses to protect eyes and surrounding skin. I hope Eucerin will never change this formula or discontinue this product. Update: to combat the shiny look when using a large doze, I use a smaller amount of this product, which leaves just a little bit of glossy appearance, and when it dries apply a thin layer of Cotz Prime and Protect on top which effectively covers any shine and boost the SPF. With these 2 layers I have both chemical and physical sunblock agents and avoid the shine and white cast issue of each product if used in full doze. On the body I just use Eucerin alone.

I usually don’t like sunscreens, but this one is really good! I have really dry skin and it leaves a glowy look. My makeup goes on really well with it too!

The consistency of this sunscreen is rather watery, but it dries down matte and cakey. Do not be fooled by the marketing, this sunscreen is NOT moisturizing in the slightest even with "Hyaluronic Acid" which I seriously doubt is in this formulation. I always layer on a thick moisturizer before I put on sunscreen and somehow, this sunscreen still managed to dry out my skin and cake up on it. This sunscreen is also extremely irritating to the eyes. Now, obviously, sunscreen will irritate your eyes if it gets into them, we've probably all had that happen before. What I mean is "extremely irritating" is that if this sunscreen manages to get into your eyes, it WILL cause an allergic reaction for the rest of the day even if you rinse out your eyes thoroughly. I've never had such a strong allergic reaction to a sunscreen before. All of this is a shame because even as drying as this sunscreen is, I'd still have put up with it if it didn't have such long lasting consequences on my allergies. If I had bought this sunscreen from a retail store, I'd have returned it. This is NOT a dupe for the smaller 2.7 fl oz 50 SPF Age Defense Face Sunscreen that Eucerin has. I wish I could bold that to prevent someone else from purchasing this sunscreen the way I did. The reason I even got this sunscreen was because I hoped that it'd be a larger version of that sunscreen, but it's definitely not. The consistency isn't the same, it's a drying sunscreen instead of a moisturizing sunscreen, and it will irritate your eyes for an entire day if it somehow gets into them. It's a shame because the Age Defense Face Sunscreen is the opposite of all those qualities. I'd also recommend the Hawaiian Tropic Weightless Hydration Lotion SPF 50 (it's cheaper on Hawaiian Tropic's website) which I'm repurchasing now because of how intolerable the allergies are from this sunscreen. It's also a larger bottle at 6 fl oz. Again, sunscreen will always hurt if it gets into the eyes, but it's ridiculous that it bothers your eyes for the entire day even if you rinse your eyes out.
