Great watch for the price & a great foreign made Oyster Perpetual
I was going to get my dad a nice quartz Timex or Casio in the 50-90$ range but this watch caught my attention more since it was an automatic & was a homage to a Rolex Oyster perpetual. Not an exact clone but not bad.I heard that it has a ST-6 Seagull movement which is from the 1960s Breightling watches. It shouldnt be identical as its a foreign made watch but it should still be reliable.I liked the watch alot that I ended up getting myself one too but in the bluish/green sand dial.Went ahead & added a 20 mm leather strap with my watch as I did not want the rolex like bracelet for myself. I understand why others would like it but it was comfortable when I did wear the original one. The time felt accurate & was only 3 seconds fast per day. The date flip featured worked reliably. The lume is not the best at all, but at this price point what do you expect. When you are doing a quick glace its very easy to read & theres no noise level with the watch as some have state.

Great looking watch
The watch works great, keeps time great and looks great, but I had to send the first one back because the crown fell off in the first two weeks. They replaced the watch no questions asked, and this new one has lasted two weeks and has no problems. I wear it everyday and sleep with it on at night only take it off at shower time. So it is consistent at timekeeping

Great watch exhalent price
Got this watch 25 Aug 2025today is 9 Sept 2025The watch is great looking, it has the reddial witch I find pleasing as all my other watches but a couple have black dial's.I change out the band on all my watches to to wide ones, so I can not tell you about that. I really like this watchit is comfortable on wrist keeps time and looks good while doing it. The lume is weak but what can you say, but it doeswork for a bit. I would have given it 4 stars except for one thing. Now on to review. It has keeps time great, accurate well with in the specs of manufacturers literature.-7 sec/+10 sec in 24 hrs scene I got it.At a glance you can read the time with the bold hands over the red dial.I know it it water resistant to at leastin a deep sink. The case is a nice solid metal with I high polish, not really a fan of the display backs but that is the new thing and I really don't see it so it is mostly a none issue. It has a few scratches on it but I am kinda rough with all my watches. The badI have never had hardlex as a crystal,so this may just be that I got a bad one or they may all be this way.I clipped my crystal on a door frame this morning and know it has a big ole chunk in it. It is still keeping time and I don't think it has broken all the way through.I will continue to wear the watch and put it in to my rotation.

Love my Benyar watches
I have 8 Benyar automatic watches in my collection and I love them all. Everyone of them is my favorite and I'm proud to wear them everyday. They are heavy and look and feel like quality, name brand designer timepieces. They are easy to wind and set the time, quiet, bands are simple to adjust, accurate and beautiful tribute designs to extremely expensive watches.

CHANGED REVIEW....NOT on par with Seiko 5
*12/28/2022 updatemy original review was based on winding the watch to test the movement for three days WITHOUT wearing it since it was a gift.apparently, there were some major issues that came with wearing it according to my son.1. fully wound, it would stop and start throughout the day... sometimes for hours before noticing2. simply wearing it was not sufficient to keep it operating either...he found it ran slower as his day went on so he would have wind or shake it.3. I have very old and very reliable seagull movement watches (which is supposedly what's in this watch) and from what he told me, this is nothing like those. he even described a "gritty sound" to the movement that I didn't hear or feel since I didn't wear it.maybe I just got unlucky, or maybe these mass produced seagull movements are junk?either way...ONE STAR FOR RUINING CHRISTMAS!this is the smaller "budget" version of the Pagani that looks identical.Benyar is a division of Pagani, so I have all the faith in the world they hold the same high standards even though they use "lesser" materials.the fit, finish, materials and accuracy are on par with my multiple Seiko 5 (low end models)the seagull movement has been around for 80 years, folks.unless they come out with a nuclear powered automatic for $70, you'll never beat this for an everyday automatic.

The watch has a good finish with quality materials (steel, display, etc.)
The watch is beautiful, heavy and comfortable. It came in a beautiful box that surprised me. It also came with an aid to remove segments from the bracelet. I holp. I hope it lasts for many years
