My husband is a tad picky and after reading reviews on several mattress pads, I went with this one. It is super comfortable and saved the mattress situation we were in. I’m currently using it over a foam mattress topper because my mattress is extremely firm, and with my nerve and back issues, the extra softness has made a noticeable difference in comfort while sleeping. It fits my queen mattress very well and stays in place nicely. The extra padding adds a softer feel without making the bed feel overly hot. Before using it, I placed it in the dryer to help fluff it up since it comes compressed in a vacuum-sealed bag. That definitely made a difference in how full and comfortable it felt afterward. One issue I noticed is that the material already started to fray by the second day, even with a fitted sheet covering it. That was a little disappointing considering how quickly it happened. Very comfortable. Heats up. Not as “cooling” as advertised. Creates “hot pockets.” Great for the value. Appearance beautiful. Would very much like to have it stay cool. I sleep with my AC at 70-72 even in the winter. I have a small apartment so electric bill still affordable.
