Was not even in the water for 24 hrs and it turned to complete mush and is just falling apart.

coming up short.
In the description it says it can grow up to 36 inches. Ours has been in water for 4 days and hasn't grown past 15 inches. Is this normal?

Grew but in a twisted and bulbous way
While my alligator grew, he twisted and is doing some kind of back bend whilst pregnant. I might have gotten a dud, but all the same it didnt grow as expected.
