It didn't catch on my hair no colour at all it was waste of money and time

Please read an investigate the ingredients, specifically ethanolamine and hair loss.This product does cover gray, it does not have a strong smell like ammonia , however after 3 years of use I now know it is causing my hair to fall. It’s devastating . The hair product Industry is not regulated by the FDA , we are on our own to complete due diligence. I only wish I would have researched 3 years ago - the data was there on the web, I simply chose to be sucked in by the marketing .

This hair dye left my hair shiny and weirdly enough felt healthier - if you’re not a hair professional, this is one of the safest way to color your hair IMO. I opted for the 4.0 dark brown and the color turned out almost black as you can see in the pic (my hair was a chestnut/medium brown before). It covered all of my greys!!! If you have medium to long hair, make sure you use 2 boxes like I did! The conditioner it came with was my favourite, very hydrating and smells amazing. Would buy it again!

I ordered 2 boxes of Olia Medium Brown because I couldnt go to the pharmacy and this is what I usually buy. The first box I used left my hair fried and even after using the special conditioner, it felt like a loofah sponge. This has never happened to me in the 30 years plus that I have been dying my hair. I thought I had maybe done something wrong by not mixing it enough so I was stupid enough to use the second box tonight, 6 weeks later. The damage is so bad that I will have to cut off half my hair now AND I can still see my grey roots! People, there is something wrong with this product or batch. Highly not recommended.

What I like best about this particular hair dye is it's thick consistency. It is important to me that a hair dye mixture not be runny during the time it takes me to apply, and this one truly fulfills this one requirement. During application, other dyes inevitably run and despite the strategically laid down towels meant to catch wayward fly-aways my efforts are not always successful if the hair dye doesn't hold together well. Such accidents can in some instances cause permanent discoloration to counter top/floor and/or cabinet/doors even when instantly wiped away. Although such damage is generally minor, in and of itself, it is damage that becomes more noticeable when cumulative and I wish to avoid it. The only other alternative is to pay the big bucks to the hair salons to have the job done elsewhere. Fortunately, Olia saves me the time and cost of patronizing this money-grabbing industry because it gives me the confidence I need for doing the job myself. The one other thing I like about this particular product is that the package always includes a tube of quality hair conditionner (emphasis on the world 'quality'). Now, if only Garnier would stay consistent with how available they make their Olia colours -- I mean, do they know how frustrating it is to their customers when they find a shade they like only to find it is the one on the shelf that is ALways unavailable? Or, worse yet, that their choice colour has suddenly been discontinued by the company for no reason whatsoever. Olia is one of the newer hair dye lines on the market and yet, it is already guilty of doing this.

It damaged my hair, this is the second time I buy online, and it seemed to me that the online purchases for these items are completely different than when you buy them from a local store.This is the second time I get hair loss and an itchy scalp, but I don't get these symptoms when I buy them from a local store.Will not buy it online again.
