Not entirely sure what other customers were expecting when they ordered this and then give it a poor review. It has a delicious smoky yet spicy taste. Not too hot. It is versatile and can be used in Korean curries, as a marinade, in soup and even as a flavouring in sourdough bread or focaccia. Excellent in my view.

This Korean chilli paste is my go-to when I want to spice things up in the kitchen. The taste is fantastic as described, but it may be a little too hot for those who prefer a mild heat. I used it to make fish cakes, and I had the whole household begging for more.

It has nice deep flavour with a kick. Great in bone broth

This paste is very hot and spicy and there's absolutely magnificent in a variety of dishes

Liked the idea of a smaller tub, but unfortunately it only has 6 weeks shelf life before it is out of date. When checking the use by date someone had put a large sticker over it.

Has a great, deep flavour with the spice kick at the end, all over a good Gochujang.

Acquistato perchè ero curiosa di assaggiare questo ingrediente tipico della cucina coreana e perchè gli alimenti fermentati sono un’aiuto per il mio intestino. Confezione pratica e richiudibile, va conservata in frigo una volta aperto. La quantità, la più piccola che ho trovato perchè volevo solo “assaggiare”, è comunque sufficiente per preparare un sacco di piatti. La consistenza è densa, simile al nostro triplo concetrato di pomodoro, e il sapore è dolciastro e molto piccante. Io ne uso al massimo un cucchiaino da caffé, ma con l’abitudine ne userò mano a mano un po’ di più. È ottima con le preparazioni orientali di pesce e carne, ma in futuro proverò a usarlo anche in ricette europee. Consiglio di provarlo, sopratutto agli amanti del piccante. Ultima cosa, apprezzo moltissimo la marca sempio per dare opzioni senza glutine, senza drenare troppo il nostro portafoglio ;)
