Boye 10-Inch Rosewood Knitting Needles, Size 10-1/2

I wasn't very familiar with rosewood knitting needles or hooks. I had used the bamboo ones before, so when i seen i could get them on Amazon for cheaper then what the bamboo ones were in the stores, (plus where i live you cant get the rosewood ones anyway!) i wanted to try knitting something with them. And i tell you what, i couldn't be any happier with the way the yarn slides on them! They are very easy to use, and to me they are better then tje aluminum and bamboo ones any day! But like i said, thats just me.

These are by far my favorite needles at the moment. I love the deep warm brown color of the wood. They are lightweight, yet strong and solid. They even survived my toddler and preschooler stepping/sitting on them once. My yarn slides smoothly, but these needles have just the right amount of 'grab' to keep the yarn where I want it. But most important I really enjoy the way the rosewood needles feel in my hands. I just love them and feel I've become spoiled! I can't imagine using anything else now.

I had a pair of the metal needles, but they were too cold and slippery for me to use in the winter -- being a beginner. I wasn't so sure about getting these, but I had a pleasant surprise when I started using them. They are so smooth and light weight. The yarn stayed on them much better too. They make for a really nice and soothing tactile experience. Having needles like this will make me want to knit more.

Is it lmy imagination, or do my hands feel less tired after lusing these needles. Can it be they love being allowed to hold rosewood for a while. I was once given a plaque made from rosewood when the wood was sold by the ounce. Now I feel like queen when I pik up my rosewood needles. My knitting looks better too.

I initially borrowed these from a friend and loved them so much I had to buy some for myself. They are smooth, light weight and easy to use. I really like the lacquer coat because it doesn't splinter like other brands I have tried. I just wish Boye would make a wooden circular knitting needles like these! I would totally buy them if they did.

These are so pretty. I like wooden knitting needles but have only had bamboo in the past. These are no better nor worse than the bamboo but they are prettier. The dark wood and fancy ends make me smile and isn't that what knitting is all about?

How can I not love these

These needles are light weight and have a nice feel in the hand. I bought them for working a mohair lace wrap, and I wanted needles that did not weigh my hands or the yarn down and that the yarn would slide along nicely. These needles fit the bill.
