THEY WORK! Like Overgrown Vitamin Moisture Packs
A month ago I never would've guessed the answer to my cars' inside window fogging problems could be as simple as a giant version of the same thing I've seen inside supplement bottles for my entire lifetime. Now I am a believer, and that's thanks to these WiseDry 500g desiccant packs! They worked for me exactly as advertised, including the recharge procedures. I purchased 8 packs and stuck 4 inside each of my problem children (vehicles, that is). The benefits played out over several days. I did need to wet vac out the pooled water in one of them to get maximum benefits from the packs. But the result over 4 weeks of constant usage is obvious--highly reduced condensation on the inside back and front windows of the two cars! In a wild, woolly, WET Pacific NW winter, that is an AMAZING result! I did discover the microwave is not a very efficient way to recharge all 8 even 2 at a time. It took these packs about 5 days to suck up enough moisture to go "full bloated" (650g weight or more) and following the instructions it would've taken a couple hours all told to get all back down to 505g +/- new weight. And that process pretty much required constant attention. I was actually concerned about the workout it gave my microwave, which isn't used to more than 20 or so minutes of use at a time. So I tried the oven method and was more satisfied using that for these packs. Keeping the oven temp below 300F it still took 6 1/2 hours to get all 8 packs down to recharged weight, but it was a completely hands off process. I don't have an easy way of measuring the energy use of my oven, but I wouldn't be surprised if cost was a wash due to the lower KW needed by a 240V appliance to provide same amount of heat as a 120V unit. That's physics so not gonna go there. Anyway, these packs fared well in the oven so that's likely how I'll generally recharge them. All told I'm giving them 5 stars and gonna keep them in mind for ALL my moisture-related problems henceforth. One note about oven recharging: I'm cheap so I order some less expensive versions of these 500g desiccant packs after seeing the results of the WD's--the white ones that look almost exactly like an overblown version of a vitamin pack, in every way, including seam sealing. Whereas the WD's are tubular construction with just very serious heat fused seams on the top and bottom, the cheaper packs have seams on all sides that did look less, shall I say, "sincere." I allowed them that slack since they were, in fact, cheaper and still claimed to be oven-chargeable. sWell don't you believe it!! Of the 6 of those packs I oven-recharged same as the WD's, 4 split their seams and spilled the beads! Would've been a much bigger mess had I not had a baking sheet below them to prevent direct heat from the oven elements. Oven temps were never about 300F but I believe should be kept to a limit of 250F for these packs. Then they seemed fine, but time of recharge would go up as much as several hours. I have yet to try that again--getting my courage back up...

Super effective
This desiccant is EXTREMELY good. One little bag is enough for a compact SUV. We used these in a car camping setting and everything stayed nice and dry all night. Easy to "recharge" in the sun.

Love these things!
I love this thing! I purchased some collectible coins this year and AI said I should store them in a humidity-controlled environment. I got the tote from Home Depot because it sealed and had an IP-67 rating. I got the wisedry 10-gram desiccant reusable packets to control the humidity. I put each coin shipping box in a heavy-duty zip-loc (which are super nice – very thick) with one wise dry in the zip loc. I put three zip locs with coins in the tote along with a fourth 10-gram wisedry desiccant reusable packet to control the humidity in the tote. Then, I also got a TempPro TP50 digital hygrometer thermometer and put it in the tote. The thermometer and wisedry desiccant packet are clearly visible through the tote so I can see if the desiccant packet needs to be recharged as well as check the temperature and humidity level inside the tote without opening it. Before placing the thermometer inside the tote, I measured the room relative humidity (RH) at about 48%. After I placed the TempPro TP50 digital hygrometer/thermometer inside the tote, closed the tote and waited a day, the RH inside the tote was down to 17% RH! Woo-hoo! Inside the tote is nice and dry and I can monitor the RH inside the tote as well as the status of the desiccant packets without opening the tote. The whole storage system cost under $43 and is doing a great job! Home Depot delivered to my doorstep unboxed and the tote was in perfect condition.

Great dessicant pack for safe
I bought these Wisedry silica gel desiccant packs to protect camera gear, clothes, and storage bins — and they’ve worked flawlessly. The moisture-indicating beads are a brilliant feature: the color change shows exactly when they’re saturated and need recharging, so I’m never guessing. Amazon +1 ✅ What I Loved: Absorbs moisture very effectively — keeps storage boxes, electronics, and fabric dry and free from mildew or musty smell. Wisedry +1 Color-indicating beads (orange → green/dark) make it easy to know when to recharge. Wisedry +1 Reusable — once saturated, a quick heat-up in the oven or microwave restores their dryness, so they’re cost-effective long-term. Wisedry +1 Non-toxic and food-grade safe (when labeled accordingly), so safe to use around stored food, clothes, documents, tools, and more. Walmart.com +1 ⚠️ What to Know: You have to remember to recharge them when the color changes — neglect means they lose effectiveness. In very humid or large storage environments, you may need multiple packs to keep moisture under control. ✅ Final Verdict: If you want a dependable, reusable moisture-absorbing solution for closets, storage bins, electronics, tools, or even food storage — these Wisedry silica gel packs are a smart buy. They’re effective, easy to monitor, and give real value over time.

After One Day...
After one day, the product seems to be performing as advertised. My crew cab pickup truck was getting enough condensation on the windshield to wet the registration and inspection stickers to the point they were coming off the glass. The truck is black and the cabin is cavernous, so there's a lot of area to test this product. I put one 500 gram bag on the dash board and checked it the following day. There's still condensation on the windshield, but not nearly as much as without the bag. I put the second bag on the center console as well as the one on the dash. Hoping to see heavy bags and dry glass tomorrow. But so far, I'm definitely seeing some improvement. UPDATE - 2/4/24 Both bags reside on the dash tray during the winter months now. Doing a good job of removing most of the condensation on the windshield. They're not perfect, but help A LOT. SUGGESTED DRYING PROCEDURE: After reading a number of complaints from others about the bags burning up or forming holes during microwave drying, I experimented with my 900W microwave and found things work better when I **put a folded white paper towel under the bag during heating. It helps draw moisture out of the bags during the microwave drying process. **SET THE POWER LEVEL for 5/6 for 4 1/2 minutes at a time. This setting removes approximately 15 gr of moisture for every 4 1/2 minutes at power level 5/6. --Yes, it takes MULTIPLE cycles to get them down to the original 500 gr weight WITHOUT Burning the bags up. (I'm using a digital scale to weigh the bags - Dry weight - 500 gr, Suggested weight for drying - 650 gr.) **After removing bag from microwave (beware - it WILL BE HOT) place the bag standing on end on a dry towel - preferably in front of a small fan set on "LOW" (to help cool AND blow moisture from the bag). --IF YOU'RE USING TWO BAGS, heat them individually - one cooling while the other is in the microwave. Hope this helps a few folks. EDIT ....at 14 MONTHS of consistent, heavy use (2/10/25) : ***These are still going strong. HOWEVER, around the one year mark, THE BAGS DEVELOPED SOME SEPARATION AT THE SEAMS and leaked some of the tiny silica pearls when I was drying them in my kitchen. I used some cotton thread to oversew the seams that look like the manufacturer originally bonded with a crimping iron or similar device. This is holding well now. ***SPECIFICS: I keep these drying bags on the dashboard of my truck (right next to the "plastic Jesus"), so they've seen a fair amount of direct / filtered UV sunlight and temperature extremes throughout the year. Just suggesting you do a visual inspection with these from time to time before handling them roughly after/around the one year mark - so you don't have thousands of tiny marbles to clean up.

Wisedry 10 gr packets.
I find these work really well. I appreciate the fact that they alert you to what is and is not in the packet, enabling the consumer to make an informed choice. Many of my items have not needed packet replacement or reactivation for the better part of a year, and in some cases longer. I have yet to reactivate any of the packets, so I am unable to comment on that. I did order additional packets recently so I could easily switch them out as needed sans immediate reactivation. They seemed to be a safer choice for food per reading the ingredient lists.

They work!
Bought 1 package of 2 500 gas. Used them in storage bins in basement for out of season clothing. So far so good. Just brought bins up and packs do need recharge. I would call pellets more black than green...or a VERY dark green. Anyway none of the clothing smelled musty. I recharged them, but also weighed them to be sure they were to original weight ( as per web site 520-530 gms.

Funcionan perfectamente

6 gram water opnemen is echt heel veel.
