It tastes great and is amazing for getting protein for healthy dessert treats. I use this to make homemade ice cream and cottage cheese brownies, so the taste review is based on using it in these desserts.French Vanilla vs Vanilla Ice Cream (5/5): Couldn't taste a big difference, but French vanilla is a little stronger, so I prefer it.Extreme Chocolate Milk: (5/5): Super good in desserts and more subtle than cocoa powder.Rocky Road (3/5): Not good as a brownie base, since the superficial marshmallow(?) taste was too prominent. Decent as ice cream since the milk/yogurt diluted it. Can't pinpoint the flavor, but it's the typical s'mores healthy protein bars.

I have tried 3 flavors of this stuff, Rocky Road, Mocha and Cookies and Cream. Best one is Rocky Road, followed by Cookies and Cream and then Mocha. The Mocha is not bad, but it just doesn't really taste like coffee, and I find fake coffee flavor to be a bit off-putting. Cookies and Cream does have the little bits of "cookie" in there, but I actually kind of like that. Especially for smoothies. Rocky Road is a delicious concoction that does actually taste like it could be dessert. I followed that one review that claimed it was the best flavor and I believe them.I think this powder is very reasonably priced. I take one scoop a day, and one of the tubs lasts me about a month. There are cheaper options, but they taste terrible or don't mix well. Speaking of which, this mixes wonderfully in my shaker bottle. I never get clumps or anything weird.I'm just going to trust the other reviewers who vouch for the quality of the protein. I have tried other brands that have that all organic, no preservative, vegetarian powder. But the problem is that it tastes terrible and doesn't mix well. I couldnt even finish some of the other brands. I make sacrifices for my health, but I draw the line at quickly swallowing a shaker bottle filled with clumpy powerdery protein that tastes like it should be inedible. This one however, makes the experience pleasant.Overall, I think this is a sold, quality product and I'm going to keep repurchasing it.

I'm not a workout professional, or even an enthusiast. but I've been working out more and a friend of mine swears by Gold Standard so I thought I'd give it a try and I've been pretty happy with this so far. My body just naturally has trouble bulking up, but since I've started taking this as a meal replacement and a pre-work out I have noticed that my muscles have been growing a bit more compared to when I didn't take any protein or supplements at all.Flavor preference is very subjective and personal, but I've tried most of the different flavors that are available and I haven't run into one that I found to be really bad. So the flavor options are very good, though I personally prefer the vanilla ice cream which seems to mix well with a variety of different fruits, juices or just plain water.

I bought the strawberries and cream, cookies and cream, and rocky road flavors for my morning and post workout shake. All 3 are delicious! Quality protein with great taste. Can't go wrong with Gold Standard Whey.

Container was all dented in but delivery box was fine so was sent with it like that. Shouldn’t impact the product though. Product is not sweet, mixed well, serves the purpose.

This saved my bacon when I could not eat and we needed it, but the flavor was a bit strange and gave it a weird texture with the cookie crumbs. I felt them in my mouth for an hour after each time I drank it. I got through it OK and the good thing is we found out that you can buy the same thing in many different brands and flavors for the same price or cheaper at the local supermarket. Be careful though if you are drinking this as a meal supplement since it has a very limited amount of vitamins in it. There are far better options. I am allergic to B6 and this has none so I went with this. It is a good source of pure protein and a good supplement for working out and it will give you an extra boost if need be so it has a place in your diet if you need it.
