California ImmobilizerUniversal Coupler Lock, Yellow

This is a good lock and I would have given it 5 stars; however, it does not fit properly on my trailer. I have to use a block of wood and a hammer to get it on and off. I went on their website and they make two models in this style: one for Airstream trailers, and one for all others. Mine is not an Airstream so i ordered this and it is way too tight.

There are open areas on this lock where you can take a tow chain with 2 hooks and pull this off the coupler in about 10 seconds with your truck. Why they did not cover up these areas so you can not put hooks on it is beyond me. Their obviously needs to be some redesigning. We ,as trailer owners, are not looking for convenience but the best security possible. I wonder when these lock companies will understand that! I have had trailers stolen so I can speak to this with a lot of knowledge

Great lock for our 1978 Airstream Tradewind.

To early to judge this. Appears to be sturdy. Looks well made, but is it tough enough?

Doesn't fit hitches that have a point to them.

Did not fit and could easily be pried off if it had...returned

This is my second purchase. I use one on our camper and one for our boat trailer . I don’t worry about leaving our camper & boat unattended at a campsite or a marina. I appreciate that the set of (2)keys are unique for each lock. Our RV pad at home is not fenced in and I feel so much better with the immobilizer on it. It’s a deterrent and it’s well built. Don’t look any further - you’ll be happy with this purchase.

The only improvement this product could use is more information on line and perhaps a video, product description. Bottom line, great device and having on the trailer, I feel more comfortable about the safety.

Looks good for the people that are worried about the lock the black is not the lock just a rubber boot under it it’s a steel sleeve the lock sits in
