Purina ONE True Instinct Dry Dog Food, Real Salmon & Tuna, 15 lb Bag

My German Shepard is very picky. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to figure out what he will eat bc he can’t have chicken. And he’s very picky. When I found the beef and salmon I knew we had a winner. We have tried the turkey and venison and he wouldn’t touch it. So decided to try the salmon and tuna. Bc tuna good for them. I realized this with reviews on this product. My picky german Shepard and my golden retriever both loved it so much that I have to watch how much I lay down with golden retriever he will eat it til he pukes. Also I knew by reading the comments that people were saying dog had poops. That’s also normal if changing foods. That’s why your suppose to mix it. Over all this is a great combination. I’ve bought this 2x now and will be buying it a 3rd. My product had no issues in bags of either 36pound bag. But my only recommendation is can I get like a 50 pound bag to last a whole month for two dogs so I don’t have to buy every 3 weeks lol just a little bigger bag lol

Only do food I give my dog. She is 114lb and is allergic to chicken. This dog food is very digestible.

The reason why I bought this product vs other is because I know my girls are getting the vitamins and protein they need. I have two girls and I take care of my mother's two girls as well, so its obvious that we spoil them. We always get the best food for them. My oldest one, Momo (small chihuahua) always love eating dry food so she eats all her food. And whatever food is left, my mother and I leave for the raccoons to eat (which they eat all of). The size of the dog food i ordered was a plus for me and the ingredients, real salmon and tuna. Compare to getting chicken and beef, I always prefer getting Salmon since its more beneficial for dogs. I know my girls are getting their omega 3 and other nutrients. I definitely recommend buying this product since its great for dogs and good price. I would definitely buy this product again.

So I’ve been giving my English bulldog Purina one for about a year now. I go back-and-forth between the salmon and the lamb to give my picky dog a little bit more variety. And I just wanted to offer my two cents, Because I love it and my dog loves it I did see the reviews stating that sometimes there’s larvae or flies or something in the bag I do check the food, but never have I gotten a bag like that. I appreciate the pieces of meat as it encourages my dog to keep eating. If you thinking about getting it, I think you should a good price for the big 15 pound bag and it lasted me about three weeks to a month. I am a satisfied customer and I will keep buying. Thank you.

This dog food seems right for my dog. Has great ingredients in it. Good vitamins. My dog loves the taste. I have no problems with him to eat this well. I would recommend purchasing this.

The product is great. The box you pack it in bucks. The box is wacky too large for one bag of dog food.. It breaks open every time.

Haven’t been able to find this in store, I’m happy to see that it’s available on Amazon and same price! I think my dogs like this much better than the beef

We've always tried to treat our dogs like they're family, and for us that included giving them what we believed to be better quality food. For years, that involved one of the grain-free "natural" foods from some other brands. However, in the last couple years, vets and the FDA have seen a sharp increase in cases of dilated cardiomyopathy with the only common factor being those exact foods we were using (do a google search for "FDA dog food heart disease"). At my brother's urging (he's a veterinarian), we switched to traditional foods from the more established brands. We went through several rounds of food trying to find one that our lab mix would actually enjoy and not eat only out of necessity. I ordered this on a whim because I remembered she had liked fish-flavored treat sticks once, and she absolutely loves this food. She's actually excited about mealtime again. Now, I know flavor is subjective and every dog is different, so that's not the real reason I'm writing this review. The real reason I wanted to write the review is that I wanted to let people know that through all the years of "natural" diet, and all the other types of traditional food, her coat has never been this soft and silky. Her back has always been bristly, and I thought that's just always how it was going to be. Within 2 weeks of switching her to this, her back is getting soft and silky, and her head is impossibly soft. The quality of this food and the ingredients are truly better than Purina gets credit for. Even if your pet ends up not liking this flavor, give one of the other flavors a shot. I don't think we'll ever buy another brand again.
