I feel like Cinderella!!
I LOVE these slippers!I wear a 7.5 W and that is what I ordered. They come with a plastic ring arch elevator that you can put under the insole for more support. The insoles are very nicely padded..just enough but not too much. The heel cup is deep enough to keep my foot in place. There is a velcro strap across the top to tighten or loosen as needed. There is plenty of toe room.i have one big toe that is lifting a little as well as a moderate hammertoe. These sippers are roomy and my toes have "wiggle room".The style is adequate. They are really a cross between a slipper and a slip-on mule. The mater is very nice. Color selection is limited. They have a rubberized non-slip sole on them and can be worn outside. I suppose you could wear them out and about, but I think they do look more like slippers than shoes.I have ordered a( and returned) so many slip-ons looking for the perfect one to wear around the house since I cannot walk barefoot anymore due to fallen arches. These are the ones!Oh! And did I mention that they are airy (for warmer climates) and lightweight.THANK YOU ORTHOFEET!!!

Look no more for great shoes
I received these shoes 2 weeks ago and I am truly impressed!! The shoes are perfect for my feet. I have been looking for the best shoe company that made the perfect shoe for problem feet. The company goes the extra mile for the shoe to fit comfort on different parts of my feet. We have all bought a great pair of shoes but you had that one little spot that hurts. You thought it would go away but it never did. Never again for me. I found my perfect shoe store!!

Great slippers if you can find your size
Third pair of these slippers so you know I like them. Only problem is finding them available in my size. I like them because you can get them in wide and they are semi flat. Last a long time. Comfortable and the soles are good outside also. I recommend them but remember they run a little large if you can’t find your exact size.

Somewhat disappointed.
I rated these Orthofeet shoes a three because they just do not have arch support. However, the material is fabulous; it allows the foot to "Breathe." The fabric is also flexible and pliable......feels great. Does not cause the feet to sweat....no odor; however, I cannot wear these shoes because no arch support, even when I added both (two) inserts to the shoes. Therefore, I spent money on shoes I cannot wear...so not a bargain.

Great shoes!
Ive been searching for awhile now for house shoes to wear. I have a few issues that make shopping for the right shoes more difficult. I have a foot condition that makes unsupportive shoes hurt my feet, that runs into my legs and hips if not supported right. I also have wide feet and problems with sweating/smelly feet. I also can't wear shoes without socks or the sweat/smelly problem is exasperated. The last thing I really needed was a shoe that would allow me to have enough room to put my custom sole into, which this shoe has! These shoes are breathable and there's plenty of room for my feet with the insole inserted, plus if I want to tighten them I can do that with the strap. I feel like I hit the jackpot with these shoes. I can't say how the support is in the shoes since I did not use them but if you need house shoes that function really well and can fit your custom insoles, these are it! Its really nice that these don't make my feet hot. I normally wear like a size 7-7.5 and I ordered a 7.5, they fit perfectly. My insoles are size 7 but they fit in these great as you can see in the photo. Worth the money I spent!

These literally PUT ME INTO BED with my back for three days.
First, when I put these on out of the box, they felt really good. I have a major lower back issue (had surgery on L4-L5-S1 twelve years ago, with mild degeneration now - involving L5-S1). I bought them to wear around the house. Day 1 and 2: great. Day 3: my heels started feeling a little sore (has never happened before). By end of day, both of my heels were definitely sore, but not awful. Day 4: I woke up and COULD BARELY MOVE. My lower back was frozen with pain. It hurt to breathe. And having had surgery and a very long recovery, I knew THAT type of pain: and it wasn’t muscular. This was a deep, strong ache: the type of pain I had for 2-3 days right before emergency back surgery 12 years ago. I called my ortho doc and didn’t even mention I was wearing a new brand of house orthopedic house shoes. It didn’t occur to me at the time that had anything to do with it, even though I haven’t had a severe back issue in 4+ years. My ortho got me in same-day and I had scan that showed TWO slipped/bulging discs. I had a PET scan done on my torso four months ago, for a totally unrelated health concern. At that time, both of those discs were fine, in place with no bulging.I was shocked to hear from my orthopedic surgeon that MULTIPLE patients of his (post-spinal surgery) have had issues with Orthofeet shoes. I was fooled by the pretty high price of these, thinking they’d be better than other shoes I have. So, I’m on Day 3 of being in bed for this back issue, and went back to wearing my other house shoes yesterday (“Walk Hero” mules - although they’re not very high quality uppers, the sole/support is much, much better than these Orthofeet mules - so I highly recommend them as far as support for bad lower back/bad knees - I have the Walk Hero inserts too, in multiple pairs of shoes: boots, sneakers, etc). This was my first pair of Orthofeet. I was looking for a better quality upper than my current, perfectly supportive pair of Walk Hero mules. This was definitely my last pair of Orthofeet shoes. I’m very disappointed, especially considering I had read so many great reviews. FYI: I’m a woman, with size 9US feet: normal width (slightly narrow heel), a normal arch, and slight over-pronation. These “normal width” Orthofeet are definitely too wide for my feet without pretty thick socks.I rarely write detailed reviews like this one, but I was compelled to do so specifically because these shoes were so comfortable in the beginning, even though they were clearly causing my lower back/hips to not align properly. If you have no back issue, these may work well for you. However, my personal opinion is, if you’ve ever had surgery on your lower back, steer clear of these! Or at the very least: if your heels start to hurt while wearing these, stop wearing them.

Everything received turned out to be what was illustrated and described.
Very comfy. Good support too especially as it is a slide on shoe. Inserts helpful if needed.
