I installed a metal extruder on my Ender 3 Pro to replace the stock plastic one, and it’s been a great upgrade. The installation was easy — it bolted right up using the original hardware, and the filament path lined up perfectly without needing any modifications.The metal design feels way stronger and more durable than the stock plastic extruder. With the old plastic one, I had issues with the arm wearing out and slipping over time. Since upgrading to metal, extrusion has been much more consistent, and I haven't had any problems with skipping or under-extruding.The tension adjustment is smooth and firm, and it holds filament securely without grinding it down. It’s a simple, affordable upgrade that just makes the whole system more reliable.If you're still using the original plastic extruder, I definitely recommend swapping to a metal one — it’s an easy fix that makes a big difference over time.

The product works perfectly well, though it is a little difficult to put together as the instructions were more like following a diagram. But overall, I am very impressed with this product.

Works great. When installing this you may want to watch the you tube video. The screws have to be installed in a certain order. Also the one screw that the spring goes on is an adjustment for the tension between the lined wheel and the curved wheel that the Filament feeds through. Generally you turn this screw out about 2 turns.

Great quality. My only gripe is that the first time i bought two and one of the two bags contained ONLY the base metal plate and none of the other hardware. Replacement was sent out but now I have to go through the fun of returning the old one. Not to happy about the wasted time there.Both are installed now and the process was very easy. Very high quality. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

Very simple to install and it works great. Definitely a higher quality upgrade from the factory extruder.

Most of these 3D printers are copies of the commercial ones and pretty generic. I took one look at it and knew it would fit, as it's aligned on the drive axis of the stepper motor (like 99% of them).My bowden mount on my Aurora A5S failed and broke. What can I say? it's plastic and Aurora does not sell the part that broke!I like the tension adjustment on this one, no more sore thumb, and less dust. It has a firm grip on the tube now, and I'm back in business!The instructions could would be better if they were steps. There's definitely an order to putting it on. I tried putting it together on my desk, had to take it apart again! Install the lever last.

I had been having trouble with the filament slipping in the original Creality plastic extruded. This stopped all of that. Great product.

Yes this made a difference over the stock plastic one. No more separation layers! Installed in only few minutes on my Creality Ender 3 Pro. which has a 15mm motor shaft- no issue. Remember to redo your e-steps and flow calibration after replacement.

Easy to install and great quality

Like all Ender 3 plastic extruders, mine cracked and caused a bunch of needless trouble-shooting. Finally figure it was the plastic extruder arm with a micro crack. Got this puppy quick and was very easy to assemble and installed. Adjust the tension and was back in business.The extruder is built well & the fit and finish was spot on. Would recommend anyone to replace thier plastic extruder with this one.
