Perfect Everyday Carry Pen
Let's just start with an admission. I like pens. I have fancy pens, cheap pens, office pens, fountain pens. I just happen to think pens are cool. This pen, however, has become my every day workhorse pen and I carry it with me everywhere. It fits perfectly into the cover of a pocket sized Moleskine notebook. The clip is situated such that the top of the pen is nearly flush with the edge of the notebook, so it doesn't get caught on your pocket or stick out annoyingly like most pens, on the brink of falling out. It just tucks right in and stays put. It is solid brass, and for a pocket pen, it has a great heft to it that makes writing with it a pleasure, whether the cap is posted or not. It takes a little extra time to unscrew the cap and to post it, as it is well threaded on both ends. This is a super writing instrument for the price, and works reall well as an all-arounder. I now own three and have given one as a gift which was well received. It comes in a nice little tin box and the refills are inexpensive. Don't be put off by the fact that it is a fine point. It is a gel based ink, and flows smoothly, writing a bit more like a pilot .5 than a more traditional .5. The brass on mine is now getting a nice patina to it, and it looks smart in my Filson bag. I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this as a great EDC pocket pen.

I find it to be a great pen
I am a big fan of a heavy pen and this fits the bill. The design is very nice and the cap has a hook of good quality that doesn't bend. The fine pitch thread for the cap was an interesting choice but I don't personally mind it. It does mean it takes a second to uncap the pen. Note the back is also threaded as well for keeping the cap on the pen. All in all a great pen if you like heavy pens.

Great pen with one minor, easily fixable flaw.
This pen is nice and heavy in the hand, and it's decently compact if you're looking for an alternative pen to something like the fisher space pen to carry every day in your pocket. I don't notice it among my keys and pocket knife, even though it's easy to find in my pocket. The threads on this pen are all well enough made, with one minor exception being the threaded pocket clip on the top. This leads to the flaw mentioned in the title. If you tighten the pocket clip all the way down on the cap, the tip of the ballpoint will press into it when the pen is closed. It doesn't damage anything, but it causes the pen to leak all over itself and the inside of the cap. In order to fix this, I wrapped a tiny piece of paper around the threads on the clip and carefully screwed it in so it would be tight without bottoming out on the ballpoint. So far so good, and I feel like I got a great value in this ten dollar brass pen. Side note: The pen uses a cartridge that looks almost identical to a pilot g2 cartridge, but a g2 cartridge will not fit in this pen. It comes very, very close to fitting, to the point where if you were to sand the g2 cartridge right where it connects to the ballpoint a small amount, it may fit. As it stands, the cartridge it comes with is a tiny bit finer than a G2 and writes a little less smoothly. It is still nice enough to write with.

Good for the price
Product is what is advertised. I love that it has a texture/design on the area where you typically hold the pen when writing. As the material is a brass/metal body, it's heavier than the usual pen which I like (comes down to personal preference), but I can see that one can feel tired when writing for some time using it. Refill that comes with it is not that smooth, just ok. Delivery was really fast.

Nice solid pen, what do you use for refills?
Nice solid pen, would give 5 stars if refills are easy to get and cheap. Anxious to see the brass age. UPDATED REVIEW 11/6/17: Found the right refill and they are cheap! I updated my rating to 5 stars. Great size pen. Great weight. Plus the cap screws on back while you are writing so it can’t be lost unlike many others. Yes it may take a tiny bit of time to screw on/off but solid pen, threaded well. It uses cevinee refills see photo below. Pen for under $10 and 5 refills for $6.99. Writes great.

About this pen...6 out of 10
Ok, so first off let me state that I own a few nicer pens. For instance a kaweco skyline, maxpedition spikata, a machine era solid brass pen. These pens are easily over the $30 mark, and they are really great quality pens. That being said. This is a $10 "brass" pen. For that $10 you get the pen. Some weird G2 style slim refill and the clip. This pen is easily a 6/10 rating. First off the clip is terrible. When I received mine today it was bent flat(totally the manufacturers fault), so as I typically do I tried to fix the problem and bend it back. I snapped the clip in two. Not having it ramped at the proper angle was their fault. Breaking it was on me. Another thing was the threaded portion of the clip. Like stated it can press the pen cartridge and leak ink. I simply just screwed the small portion I had left and used some epoxy to lock it in. The machining is on par for paying $10. The cartridge is trash. The sizing too. I did however get a Energel (.5) needle tip to work by using my worksharp to lightly sand top the portion of the cartridge and made it work. It writes fine and there is no movement at all at the tip. The M&G .5 refill should work but I did not feel like ordering them. Also the TUL ballpoint refill with work with some tinkering. Overall ok pen for what you pay. "brass", thread on cap. Threaded back portion for posting. And a decent hard to find Chinese refill. 👌Certain refills will work if you really feel like messing around and sanding stuff. Just a little ingenuity is all you need.

Nice Heavy Pen
I really like this pen and clip it to the outside of one of my Field Notes leather journal covers. One small drawback is the treading of the pen cap... too many turns to take off and replace the cap. Also, I had to search a bit to find the proper refills, but they are out there.
