You should be able to use on locks.. My niece have locs and she use it when she like to change up her color without using a permanent color in her hair

ive always wanted to dye my hair, but my mom never let me, so i got this and i am now the happiest person!! its not the MOST PIGMENTED, but it shows up pretty well!! it takes forever to dry, but diffusing does def speed it up, and its not crusty like everyones saying 😭 so i like it! will prob repurchase in another color

Not the best on brown hair

The color only shows and pops out on darker hair. It dries down like gel and fades out really quickly. Other fun colors are better tbh.
