Is 60mg too high a dose for melatonin?

I actually bought this high dose of melatonin for my dog!! My dog has alocepa and my vet recommended this high dose over 3-4 months as it's been demonstrated to help stimulate hair growth in dogs. Lo and behold - it worked! I never took this for myself! Sorry - LOL!
