This is thin and a little flimsy. Very light weight. It works perfectly for my needs. I have a senior, special needs dog. I wanted a way to keep her warm at night without heating the whole house or putting her in danger. I zip tied this to the inside of her play pen where she sleeps and i drape a throw over the top to keep heat in. If she wakes and rubs against it, it will not burn her. It does not blow hot air so her eyes and nose aren't irritated. It only warms her little corner of the bedroom, so we stay comfortable. Her sleep has improved, so in turn, so has ours.

I purchased this for under my wife's work desk, after having purchased one for myself a year prior. This is a great piece of kit with temperature control and is very durable while not weighing very much. I would purchase this again.

I bought this last winter to use under my desk. My home office setup is right by an outside wall and gets very cold, especially when just sitting for long periods. This fits very nicely in the footwell--the 5-panel construction means you can configure it easily to fit a specific space. When not in use, it folds up compactly for easy storage.It heats up quickly. The heat setting and timer are adjustable. I haven't used the remote control since mine is in use only when I'm seated at my desk so I use the control panel on the heater. Some people mentioned that the control panel was difficult to use. I didn't find that to be the case, but you do need to press in the center of a button and hold firmly for a few seconds. I see that as a plus, frankly, since you don't want controls that could be changed just by an inadvertent touch.Speaking of which, this heater seems very safe. It's sturdy--even when I intentionally jostle/tug on it, it barely budges. No danger of tipover. (People with children/pets should use their own judgement and take reasonable precautions.) The surface of the pad does get warm to the touch, but not uncomfortably so. No burn risk with normal, reasonable use. (Again, precautions should be made to prevent prolonged, direct exposure.) And if I'm going to be away/out of the room for any length of time, I manually turn it off. On the few occasions I've forgotten, the auto shutoff has worked.I was unfamiliar with this kind of heater, so it was something of a risk for me when I bought it, but I couldn't be happier with it. I've already set it up again this year for the nippy autumn mornings and my feet are nice and toasty.

This product saves my legs and toes everyday, keeps everything nice and cozy under my cold desk.However, the power button leaves me wondering if I turned it on or not every time I try to use it. It would be amazing if it had a remote or if the power button, would click or something giving some feedback to the one sitting above it that it turned on. When leaning down, it's hard to see the panel and the power button is not easily seen, it's felt and awkwardly placed.Also, the temperature setting shows only Celsius, not Fahrenheit.otherwise, once you get over the initial burn in of the product and its chemical smell, it works great.

Absolutely no noise and puts off ample heat to keep my legs and feet warm under my desk. Love that it has a timer so I never have to forget to turn it off. If you are hesitant on purchasing, just purchase it!

*Product quality has changed significantly - I do NOT recommend the 2025 version* Buyer beware - the good reviews for this product are likely based on the prior version - see the attached pictures for evidence that this product has been poorly redesigned.I purchased this for the first time in January 2022. It came as pictured in the listing (plastic handles that are fitted well, bright display screen) and I have had no problems with it (smelled fine when operating from the beginning, no issues with any buttons). It was such a good product that when I needed something for a different room this year (2025) I reordered it.The new product is very different. The handles are poorly fitted metal pieces that are just jammed together - you can see the heating and insulation layers sticking out - not sure how safe it is to have metal directly in contact with all the innards. The buttons do not work reliably, the display does not turn on reliably, and when it does it is VERY dim. I am doubtful this version would last long. Also, perhaps because the layers are not sealed at the handles, the device gives off a very off putting plastic fume smell when operating.Overall, what was once a wonderful device is now unreliable, unsafe, and unattractive. I returned it.

Great for work. My little area. Legs and feet get warm. It's light, easy to carry.

This thing is awesome. For some reason the air in my office seems to blow cold air in the winter. They don't want us using ceramic heaters for safety reasons, so I tried this product. I wasn't expecting anything amazing from this product, but it puts out the perfect amount of heat for what I need. I've got it placed under my desk around my legs, and it keep my legs and feet nice and warm. Enough heat escape out the top to keep my arms and torso warm too while I type. It does have a funky smell (I just got it the day I'm writing this), but I suspect this will go away over time. I like the fact that it draws around 300 Watts instead of the 750-1500 watts of ceramic heaters. Overall I feel like this will make a huge difference in my comfort at work.
