Very nice cabinets but once we got them we realized that we had measured wrong for our space. So we put them in our guest room and ordered different ones. They are very sturdy and are great for a small space.

Two months ago I bought the stand my TV is setting on. It is beautiful and very well made for particle board furniture. As you can see from the picture, it is gray, farmhouse style and basically two cabinets plus the center opening with a shelf. It was very easy to put together because it came with good instructions. The wood is dense and the hardware is very good quality. This information is for a comparison to these stands.Now on to these two end tables/night stands that I am actually reviewing. I bought them because I thought they would match my tv stand. There is no comparison. These were falsely advertised as gray. You can see from the pictures they are tan. You can also see from the picture the instructions are horrible. If I were a newbee at putting furniture together it would have been a nightmare. Both are particle board but the boards on these stands are much thinner and not nearly as dense. The hardware is the cheapest you can buy. The doors don't have hinges. They pivot on a plastic insert that sets in a hole in the particle board. Not only do you lose two inches of the opening but as soon as the particle board hole wears a bit the doors will no longer work. Also, they don't have adjustable shelves inside like the tv stand does.But, the last step is the worst of all. They have four screws on each side that shine and stick out like a sore thumb. They sent some stick on paper to cover the screws but, as yo can see from the picture, it doesn't match and looks worse than the bare screws so I took it off. I'm going to see if I can find a better solution to cover the screws. Maybe paint them to match, see if I can find some decorative screws or some wood caps that I can paint to match.I would have sent them back but they don't offer free returns and they also charged $19.99 shipping, that I would lose. If these two stands were half the price they would still be over priced. The cost of these two stands was only $14.00 less than what I paid for the tv stand.
