They do what they say they do!
Every time I make pasta I always have a mess on my stove top because the water boils over. With this item the water still splashes on the stove but it doesn't boil over and therefore clean up is much easier. For such a simple item, it works very well and just rinse off and it's ready to use again.

I end up giving these away, then re-ordering replacements for me. They are so very handy and elimate the boil over clean up.

Very sharp edges.
Nice product but the edges are not finished so they are quite sharp. Nothing a little sandpaper will not cure. Reason for only 3 stars.

I didn't think this would really work but it does. Put it in the bottom of the pot and boil away. Pasta, potatoes, boiled dinners - I have tried it with all these and nothing has boiled over. Easy to clean.

These are great and for the price. I bought from an expensive kitchen party before and these I could get two for the price of one. Awesome!
