I have dark brown hair and the color peeked through for me. The effects of the gloss wear off in about a week, but in my opinion the color fades much slower. I loved how this made my hair look and feel. I still have two more uses left and will be using them!

Super easy gloss to use! Left my hair so soft and shiny! Only took a star off because I did not achieve the purple color they display on the box. Most of it washed off, and it left behind a red brown color. Overall id buy again for the price!

I’ve used this product before in many different shades and I have never had an issue. I knew that since this was purple it was going to be more potent than the other shades but oh my god… I did a test strand and it all looked good, a pretty purple color that I assumed would fade out (like the others) and leave a purple tint, which is exactly what I wanted. I noticed however that the longer I rinsed the test strand, the more blue in tone it looked. Odd. I figured it was more of a lighting and “I’m imagining it” sort of situation. Wrong. I left the gloss in for the recommended time for highlighted hair, rinsed it out, and the longer the water ran the bluer my hair become. I applied a second round, let it sit longer hoping the purple would take over, in a state of panic. Wrong again. Blue, blue, blue. I’ve spent the last two days trying to remove this ugly blueish green from my hair to no avail. Now my highlights are an ugly plethora of blue, green, brown, and the occasional purple. Unless you are okay with your hair potentially turning blue, I would not risk using this product!

I purchased the shade Plum and I absolutely love the color. It causes no damage to my hair whatsoever — in fact, it acts more like a treatment. After coloring, my hair feels moisturized, shiny, and really healthy-looking. The scent is wonderful too. The photos were taken right after applying the color. My hair is naturally dark, with highlights, and I applied this color on top. The color payoff is excellent and I’m really happy with how it turned out. That said, the color bleeding after washing is significant. My bathtub is white, and it gets stained every time I wash my hair for the first three to four days after coloring. On top of that, the color fades quite noticeably within just one week, which means I have to re-dye fairly often — and that gets a bit tedious. Overall, I love the product itself, but I wish the color lasted longer.

It seems most folks reviewing this product poorly don’t actually know what this is. It’s not a product that will ever LIFT any color, it is color-depositing conditioner essentially. It’s not a true toner. It’s not going to magically change your entire hair color unless you do something pretty drastic. It’s not meant to be left on overnight. Read the instructions yall. I’ve been using the plum on my brown hair with lightened ends for months and love it. Only wish the blue tone didn’t outlast the red in the lighter ends but that’s what happens with color deposit; red tends to go first.

I got this because it was for darker hair, but I have red undertones in my brunette and the purple only showed up at night under direct lamplight lol. I did bleach my hair, and used this, and it’s the exact purple I wanted. I have bought ten bottles and I’m using them until I run out and buying more. Wonderfully conditioning for my bleached hair as well! Leaves it soft and shiny every time I use it. Just don’t get stuck in the rain!

Ok, so I had used Blush Blonde, Cool Blonde, Honey Blonde, and Clear at different times. I had purchased the Plum and one of the Silvers to try. I KNOW I looked at the Silver and saw the comparison of how it would look on blonde hair. I just ASSUMED that the Plum would go on lightly like all of the other colors had. I remember NOW that the model on the front of the box has dark hair. That should have been a clue. So I get in the shower at 3 am and apply this gloss (which btw I love: it makes my hair so soft and shiny). Without gloves. Now I am freaking out because my HANDS ARE PURPLE!!! Fortunately my sugar scrub took it off. (Still didn't make the connection that my hair was going to be purple though. Saved that shock for the mirror.) Had to leave my house at 4:30 am to drive 11 hours for my cancer scans at MD Anderson. (Four years post Stage 4 colon cancer!) So there was nothing I could do to fix my hair. I've spent the last two days fielding comments about my hair right and left... because it's literally the MOST purple hair I've ever seen! I mean, it's a Really Pretty Purple. It's kinda been fun. On the other hand, my hairdresser messaged me and said she had to cancel my appointment for highlights in two weeks because she's afraid my hair will break off! I'm giving it four stars instead of five, because I really had no idea this could happen. If it washes out quickly, I might change it to five stars, lol.

Does NOT Color grey . I believe it made me lose alot of hair . So1 star Not very soften for hair - if u do one more condition immediately after yea hair soften
