Question 1

What makes the Diamond Series different?

Accepted Answer

Flagship tier with the closest-to-factory color match plus a fine diamond-glitter texture that sparkles in sunlight. Dry air-release install, rated for 3 years of outdoor use.

Question 2

What makes the Premium Series different?

Accepted Answer

Premium Series — Stands out with a shiny silver metallic finish that catches the light and gives your truck a sleek, upgraded look. Built to last with the longest 5 years of outdoor use.

Question 3

What makes the Peel & Stick Series different?

Accepted Answer

Peel & Stick Series — Easy dry application with an air-release liner: peel, place, and squeegee to activate the adhesive (no water or slip solution needed). Clean standard-print finish that matches the look most trucks come with.

Question 4

Why are both decals in the set identical instead of one being mirrored?

Accepted Answer

The design contains text (Z71 4x4). Mirroring it reverses the letters and makes them unreadable. All auto decal manufacturers — including OEM factories — follow this typographical standard. Text is never mirrored.

Question 5

What is the common mistake during Z71 4x4 decal installation?

Accepted Answer

Apply these z71 decals for silverado only to clean, bare, dry painted metal. Never install over wax, ceramic coatings, or shine spray — these prevent proper adhesion and will cause premature lifting or peeling.

Question 6

Do these Z71 4x4 decals fit both the Silverado 1500 and 2500 HD?

Accepted Answer

Yes — precision-cut z71 4x4 decals for the 2007–2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2500 HD bedside location. Each measures 4" H × 12.5" W for a factory-matched fit. Set of 2 included.

Question 7

How do I install the Z71 bedside decals? Is special equipment needed?

Accepted Answer

Dry air-release install — no water needed. Clean and dry the surface, peel the backing, position the z71 bedside decal, squeegee firmly, then lift transfer tape after 5–15 minutes. Video install guide included.

Question 8

Was the Diamond Series specifically designed to replicate the original Z71 factory decals?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Unlike the Premium and Peel & Stick Series, Diamond was built from the ground up to closely mirror the original Z71 factory color profile — then elevated with a fine glitter texture that adds a sparkle the factory badge never had.

Question 9

Will these silverado z71 decals hold up through automatic car washes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, once fully cured — allow 72 hours after installation. The protective laminate on these silverado z71 decals handles automatic car washes, road spray, and highway speeds without lifting or fading.

Question 10

Can I apply these over my old faded Z71 decal, or do I need to remove it first?

Accepted Answer

Always remove the old decal first. Applying over existing vinyl creates an uneven surface that prevents proper adhesion and causes edges to lift. A heat gun makes the old decal easy to peel off cleanly.
