Chose this model mainly to keep working on grip strength as part of ongoing rehab. Been using it consistently for a few months and honestly, this thing is built like a tank. The metal parts feel solid and the resistance feels true to the numbers listed. Nothing wobbly or questionable here. What I like most is how easy it is to adjust the resistance and grip width. You don’t need to carry multiple tools; just flip the lever and keep going. It’s also dead quiet. No squeaking springs or annoying clicks, which is a big win if you’re using it around others or while watching something. Only minor note is the grip texture. If your hands get sweaty like mine, the metal handles might feel a bit slick. I wrapped mine with some spare overgrip tape from my tennis gear and that solved it completely. All in all, definitely worth the investment if you want something that can grow with your strength over time. One of those rare purchases that feels like it’ll outlast whatever stage of training you’re in.
