A great quality of life choice for PC builders
When it comes to mounting fans these are my new favorite screws. They fit snug in most fans and they and can be easily placed anywhere your case is metal. Love being able to just pick back up a fan or slide it over if I make an error and need the space or to tidying up cords I forgot instead of having to unscrew them. Great for those beginners building a PC for the first time. Just keep in mind the magnets do sit over the side of the fan so they won't sit flush so, but that does give you a cheeky little nook for you to slide the cables under instead of around. Their quality is ok, the magnets are strong but they will pop out of the feet if you screw try to tighten them to much because the hole for the feet goes right through to the feet and to the other side. I just used some super glue and popped them back into the door and everything was good to go. The overall ease they have added to working on PCs is tremendous, and you can use them for just about anything. I've used a few for hanging up picture frames, lights, and other projects I've done around my house.

Great mounts for most standard PC fans (25mm thickness).
I got these to easily add fans inside my SAMA fish tank case. These mounts let me easily add fans to the bottom of the motherboard area of the case. The magnets were very strong and allowed flexible and optimal placement of the two DarkRock LED fans I also purchased. I do recommend that you make sure that the bolt isn't too long if you are using this to install a thin fan. You might have to use a shorter bolt or cut it. I think the only way these could be better is if they came in both white and black color options.

Solid magnets, no
Not sure what else these could be used for but I, personally, have used them to mount 3 Noctura 120mm fans externally on the outside top of my Hyte Y60 with my 360mm AIO pulling in my “push/pull” radiator system and there has been zero vibrations, sounds or movement.

good option to create intake mount on 1U
I needed an option to mount 40mm fans to the front of my 1U server to help with intake. These did the job as I was hoping and the magnets are stronger than I expected. As other reviews have mentioned, the magnets don't always stay secured. This seems to be because the screws themselves don't stop and you can just keep threading them until they push the magnet out. Opportunity for design improvement.

awesome product
I've bought these over and over and over. They are great, strong magnets that won't get shaken off.Makes mounting fans so much easier as long as you have a steel case. Put fans exactly where you need them. You can use these with a magnesium or aluminium case as well with some steel washers and a dab of super glue, or you can find magnetic pads with adhesive on them... this might sound like a lot but is better than drilling holes IMO.

Returned as it did not really function from the height of the magnets.
I could see there might be a use case for these, maybe 3d print a bracket for use. I was trying to use them straight to a FAN to mount on a MiniPC. Because of the size of the magnets there was a gap between the MiniPC and the fan that all the air just escaped. Something to think about before ordering.

Love these screws!
Hooked up 2 120mm fans on my computer case on the top side (whoever designed it *coughTHERMALTAKEcough* made it to where you can access the screws up top to screw in any kind of fans) So i grabbed these and just used the bar its suppose to "clip" to and the magnets are strong enough for them to be running full blast and not fall off!!!might grab me a few more so i have some as backup's for when im out doing computer work
