Very nice coat. The ultra is much thicker. However, they do run small.I'm 6'5" 245lbs.I originally ordered the suggested size and wasn't able to put it on. I returned it for a XXLT for a better fit.The arm length is shorter than I prefer but it's a coat and how often does one really raise the arms above the head....I will keep it. It is good quality, not 100% wool. It seems that is just a thing of the past. I do recommend it.

I bought the coffee-colored medium weight coat as a x-mas gift for myself and overall I’m happy with it.The coat is decent quality, but it is an 80/20 poly/wool blend, so the fabric isn’t exactly premium. I really like the coffee color which is a black and brown twill fabric. Buttons a back gloss plastic with a silver edge binding. All my buttons were in good shape and securely sewn. My coat came with a single extra button. A single vertical zipper pocket is on the left breast. The zipper is chunky and unbranded but the action is smooth and it works. On the collar there is a silver buckle and black snap that can be used on cold days. I haven’t used it but the construction looks sturdy. There are simple interior pockets without buttons or zippers on the left and right breast. Again, construction seems sturdy. The lower exterior pockets have superfluous buttons but the pockets themselves are sturdy and warm.The fit is reasonably modern (i.e. slim) for me in a good way. However, I do have a fairly athletic build with a 42”+ chest and a 32”- waist. I really liked the fit at my shoulders and I would have preferred a closer fit at my middle— though with my build I can’t reasonably expect that from anything but a tailored coat. Length is just about right, with the coat extending down to the bottom of my jean pockets. Weight is also as advertised. The medium weigh keeps me warm in Southern California winters and would work well in Midwestern springs or autumns.Overall I’d recommend the coat. It looks good, the construction seems to be quality (though I think the fabric blend at only 20% wool is mediocre) it’s warm and the fit is good if not great. At $50, I doubt you can do better.

This has become my go-to coat for winter. It is classically styled and goes well with a tie or polo. The collar is rather stiff, which means it doesn't collapse (which is good) but it can get a little irritating on the back of the neck. The inner breast pockets are a bit too high for my tastes, making cell phone retrieval a bit less than fluid, but they do serve their purpose. Outer pockets are deep and keep hands warm. The hidden front zipper keeps out the wind as well. Overall, it's nicer than most would expect from an Amazon coat.

With a growing teenage boy, it's always tricky to find things you'll both like. This is trendy and cool, well made and warm. Plus, my young man looks and feels amazing in it!

At 6ft 7in, 210 lbs, I'm a very tall slim guy. I found an XL jacket to fit perfect in the shoulders for me (1 size up from my usual) however there's more fabric than a circus tent in the chest and waist. Its a very square cut, not slimming to match my figure at all. Additionally, my buttons were solid black plastic, not rimmed in silver like the photos.I returned this item, despite the good shoulder fit, because it looked like the jacket was wearing me, and not the other way round. Large men with a more square cut figure might wear this well, but it wasn't for me.

Looks like the product images, seems to be well constructed, is warm and cozy with no noticeable defects. Wasn't even too wrinkled, although I'll probably get it dry cleaned just to see it at its best. I almost ordered a Large, but sized up to an Extra Large after reading some comments. Glad I did--no way the Large would have worked for me. Even the XL is a bit tight across my chest. I wouldn't wear a suit jacket underneath it, but I have other coats for that so not an issue. It's quite a bit shorter than I expected, but I don't mind that other than the hand warmer pockets are placed a bit high, though not uncomfortable. Overall, it's a fantastic value and I'm happy with it! If I did it over again, the XXL may have been a better fit for me, but I worry it would possibly be too loose in the waist and only resolve the slightly tight chest fit issue. I'm happy enough and keeping it!

I purchased this coat for my husband, and it fit him perfectly. Looks stylish, enough pockets, nice weight. Great coat for a reasonable price.

My hubby’s quite happy with this black one! At first I ordered an XL in Navy because that’s what he always wears but I tried it on & it was too tight so I knew it wouldn’t fit him. I had to send the Navy back & order a 2XL in Black which fit better! The first one wasn’t true to size so watch that!

Different colors and size .. I want to return

Used this jacket all winter and still looks new. Super warm as it zips up on the inside and then buttons over. I did rip the lining, but it was mostly my fault trying to punch my arm in the jacket all wonky like.
